Pros:
-safe area, centrally located, walking distance from downtown and public transportation
-lots of natural light in the building
-affordable for the location
-no w/d in unit, but it is available in the building (coin operated)
Cons:
-building is old, walls are so thin! You can hear your neighbor sneeze, all their bodily functions, among many other things.
-poor insulation - summers are excessively hot and winters are freezing; expect to bring your own fans and heaters
-hardwood ...
flooring - if you're not on the top floor and you live under a loud stomper, that's what you're dealing with for the rest of your stay
-your quality of home life is dependent on the neighbors you share walls or ceilings with
-lastly management has good intentions but the maintainence team that they work with is seriously lacking
-response, or lack of was disappointing
-they will answer your requests if they feel like it
-in the instance that you are lucky enough to receive a response, expect to carve out your entire day to accommodate; the workers that they send were nice, but consistently late
