Renters Reviews and Ratings
WORST APT BUILDING EVER
March 5, 2026 - Review from Apartments.comThere’s too much to even say about how awful this building is to live in so I’m going to summarize using bullet points. - I have encountered MANY unhoused men setting up beds in the stair well. Every-time management has been emailed and not once have I received an email back from them. - half the residents living in this building are chain smokers and do not smoke outside but inside. So if you have asthma I would highly avoid this place. - mice and other rodents are living in the garbage bins in ...the garage. Also have seen mice in the stair well. - the fire alarm will randomly start ringing at all hours of the day/ night for up to hours. If you enjoy your sleep avoid this building as I have been woken up multiple times at 1am from the fire alarm. Never has there been a fire. - residents leave their garbage in the hallways, stairwell, in the elevator, and outside elevators in the garage. - the water that comes out of the shower and taps is yellow in colour. Probably from how hard the water is or the million year old pipes. - water shut offs once a month. - construction at all hours of the day in the apartment and you are never given notice. I’m a nurse so on my days where I had to sleep cause I had a night shift, no sleep was had. - Good luck getting a hold of anyone from management. They never respond to emails. There is no building manager that you can talk to onsite. - over the summer they were doing construction on the elevator, it was out of use and residents were told to use the stairs and that there would be rest stations available on certain floors. There was never rest stations set up. The construction went on for over a month after the original date it was supposed to be done and residents were given very little or very broad information on when the elevators were going to be finished. - the newly renovated apartments are nice but the cons of the building in general outweigh the pros of the nice apartments. Living here was absolute HELL. PLEASE trust that this is NOT a place you want to live.Read More
Excellent
November 23, 2025 - Review from Apartments.comI mainly moved here because I absolutely hate the commute, and being able to walk to the GO Centre in five minutes has been a game-changer. I'm very happy w my place!
Excellent
November 16, 2025 - Review from Apartments.comI absolutely love living here. The apartment is exactly what I was looking for.
Very nice apartment
October 24, 2025 - Review from Apartments.comIf you're looking for a completely modern space in Hamilton, check this place out. The location is amazing because you can walk everywhere, I barely use my car. The GO station is super close, and it's surrounded by tons of parks and downtown spots. It feels like getting a totally fresh, high-end apartment right where you want to be.
So pleased
October 3, 2025 - Review from Apartments.comIf you're looking for a comfortable place to live in Hamilton, this is it. I've been living at 150 Hughson for a few months now and I'm really happy with it. The apartment is spacious, the location is great and the building has come along way
New Management/Cleaner Building
December 12, 2024 - Review from Apartments.comThe new management at this building has been fantastic since they took over. They have been putting money into the building to make it look nicer, keeping the building cleaner/getting rid of any old pest issues and safer with onsite staff almost every day.
Windows
December 5, 2024 - Review from Apartments.comI used to live there before renovation. They still have the old draft windows and doors. Corktown Plaza is permanently closed and there is only 1 old elevator. The recycling room was infested with bags of garbage and mice.
