New management is horrible

The new management is horrible. Been here over a year without missing a payment. I've parked the same truck here that whole time. Woke up one day to my truck being towed because they didnt see the parking tag through my tint. Still had the old parking pass taped up to the window for good measure. I didn't get a phone call or anything. Just woke up to my truck gone while going to get formula. Now I have a screaming baby and the tow yard is closed, so I also have no truck to get to work tomorrow. ...

I'm also on call for work. This place is horrible. Carpet right up to the front door is awful too. I have plastic mats eveywhere. Parking is a nightmare for guests DONT MOVE HERE

I have lived at Oak Manor Apartments for the last 5 1/2 years with my now 16 year old daughter. We love it here. It is like a magical garden with the beautiful tress, plants and flowers. The grounds are extremely well kept as well as the Pool, Hot Tub and work out room. It is close to the schools, grocery stores and Restaurant's. It is about a 15-20 minute drive to the Ocean as well. The staff has been great. Always taking care of any issues right away. It's a small community which I love ...

it's not impersonal like so many of the big communities I visited before deciding on Oak Manor. I did a lot of research and visited a lot of other communities. When I came here I knew that I was home.

Great Complex, Sketchy Neighborhood

Overall, Oak Manor is a great place to live! The complex itself is super safe, but the surrounding neighborhood leaves a bit to be desired (for example, went on a run WITH my husband and still got cat-called). I definitely would not want to raise a family here, but for a military couple without kids, it works just fine! Pros: -Spacious apartments, mostly updated -Great parking situation -Super quiet -Beautifully landscaped and maintained complex -Awesome pool area/tennis courts -Laundry ...

onsite -Military friendly -Awesome office staff Cons: -Very little ventilation in the apartment (super easy to get mold) -Neighborhood (car alarms go off outside the complex all day, every day) -Spiders (I kill at least one every day, but that could be due to the windows always needing to be open for ventilation)

Oak manor is a lovely place to live. It's quiet , the grounds are well kept, the laundry facilities are spotless, and the pool is always clean. The office staff is very helpful and any problem is taken care of promptly. The location leaves a bit to be desired being in a more rural area of Vista, but San Marcos, Carlsbad, and Oveanside are only a few minutes away.

This is my first apartment that I have ever rented and out of all the apartments I saw and reviewed, this was the most cleanest, most quietest and most friendly complex. They keep it well kept and I feel very safe here. It also is very convenient that it is close to Camp Pendleton, the base at which I am stationed at.
