They Steal your deposit

I have just moved out of this apartment building and spent two full days making sure that every detail was as good as or better than when I moved in. Two days before my move out date I asked the manager to do a walk through to let me know if I needed to fix or clean anything and her exact words were "it's fine". I cleaned everything! Inside drawers and cabinets were thoroughly washed, I took the entire refrigerator apart to clean every nook and cranny, I wiped down each and every vertical ...

blind to remove dust.... and yet they still charged me for a cleaning fee. In addition they charged me to replace all the carpet. This is ILLEGAL. Now they won't return my calls to explain why they did this. The only thing that I can do now is take them to court.
