Noisy bad environment
June 27, 2017To summarize: Noise and bad environment are part of the daily life. People hanging outside all night and occupying the sidewalk make the street intimidating and feeling unsafe. Loud music and conversation and street littering are the norm, plus a nearby restaurant plays live music until 1am with all windows open. Another restaurant may open on the ground floor of the building surely adding to the noise. Big fat rats are the current occupants and can be seen wandering in the empty commercial ...space. In addition, helicopters fly low above the neighborhood at night and last night 7 people were shot nearby at an outdoor barbecue last Saturday. Regardless, landlords in the neighborhood are trying to bank on out of town students and ask for inflated rent despite the living condition. Avoid.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Same old problems for 20 years
July 28, 2015It appears that they haven't fixed this building in over twenty years . The ceiling in the bathroom continues to fall apart every couple of months due to pipe problems upstairs ( I live on the first floor.) Also, the radiator by door leaks all winter. Within the entire complex , the other residents leave the trash on the steps, rather than carrying them down one flight . Basically blocking the entire flight of steps and forcing everyone to throw their trash a floor down outdoors .
