The worst apartment I’ve ever lived in

These apartments were built like 100yrs ago and nothing has been updated since. Sloppy paint job, filthy upon move in, busted up cabinets and drawers, a sliding door that had just been painted shut. Outlets that didn’t work. Gas leaks that we constantly needed to call the handyman to come take care of.
No kitchen pantry. No DISHWASHER. No Microwave, no “stainless steel appliances” nothing… which normally would be fine but for the prices we were paying for this place we should’ve at least had a ...
dishwasher.
We decided not to give them hundreds extra/mo for parking so we parked on the street which was extremely difficult to find at any given time and you constantly needed to move your car for street cleaning (sometimes first thing in the morning) and if you didn’t you got a ticket.
No central air conditioning except for a window unit that was taped in. The heater simultaneously didn’t work but was always leaking heat just a little bit.
They only had four community laundry machines (two wash two dry) and at least one was always out of order. They had issues with vandalism in the laundry room so they decided to just close it off to everyone even residents from 7pm until 7am which is insane.
the owner will harass you/threaten you with legal action and eviction the moment you’re late on rent. Extremely rude and demanding woman who acts like she knows better and I assure you she does not.
They will try and suck as much money from you as they can from the laundry machines (you can get around that) parking, the highest pet rent I’ve ever seen in my life, and as soon as I moved out they raised the rent as well as the parking fee (from $150 to $200 per car!) and I promise there was nothing they improved or upgraded to warrant that.
Do NOT live here. Avoid it at all costs. Live ANYWHERE else.
