My living conditions are every reason of why I want to be free from this apartment. I share my home with the creatures of the night, but I feel as if I'm the one intruding. After a long day of work, the idea of relaxing through a hot shower is quickly snatched from reality; the plumbing is backed up. Whenever the weather changes, I most definitely know. There are so many cracks in the ceiling and walls that there will eventually be no protection from the outside. The moment I step outside to get ...
some fresh air, I feel the cement ground crumbling from beneath my feet. I now realize why the rent is so much cheaper than others, but I feel as if I'm being robbed of my hard earned money for this. Having my rent paid for a year would be a complete blessing; however, can I live somewhere else?
