Heat and elevator are constantly out-of-order.No such thing as a good night's sleep.

Building is beautiful but old. Heat always goes out-owner/mgmt company doesn't care. We left because the heat in the building/furace gose out constantly. It's always drafty in the winter becauses the windows are old. HOT in the summer if you live on the west side. Break-ins: even had someone shooting up in thee hallway!!!. I was SOOOO disappointed. Love this neighbnorhood and wanted to stay long term. You will here EVERYTHING from the outside at all hours. You will hear MUNI and Recology ...

trucks-doesn't matter which side of the building you live on. Also, not secure- we didn't realise that we would be vulnerable to intruders! Neighbors are wonderful-that's the only upside.Sadly-avoid...
