Wonderful Apartment, Down to Earth Managers

The location of the apartment is unbeatable, and the finishes inside the apartment were high quality. I never had any major problems, but even my small issues were promptly and quickly addressed. The property managers are BY FAR the easiest I've ever worked with; all our interactions were friendly, informative, and respectful. The only real downside is there is no parking included at this location, but there are plenty of month to month lots and garages around.

We absolutely love this place. As a reviewer said below, I've also been renting in Richmond for about ten years and haven't found a place this great. I lived a few blocks away for a few years so I was familiar with the area (cool restaurants and bars, short walk to Browns/Belle Island, close to most jobs downtown), but this is by far the nicest place I've lived in so far. This property is in a great location-- convenient to VCU, The Fan, and Downtown. Great bars and restaurants within the surrounding blocks, and walking distance to the river which is a great perk in the spring and summer. The units are very new, clean, and modern-- the best part being the beautiful state of the art kitchen, rainfall shower head, and in-unit washer and dryer (which is not always easy to find in Richmond)! management. I have lived and rented in Richmond for ten years, and have largely dealt with unethical, inattentive, difficult property managers across the city who have cost me thousands of dollars. It was a relief and a blessing to rent from Sperity. Their team is professional, kind, reasonable, and highly ethical. I would not rent from anyone else in Richmond.

My son was transferred home to Richmond from a position in Staunton Va. Since he was still ,out of town, I did the apartment search. He wanted to be downtown near his new office and restaurants. I looked at tiny apartments in other complexes downtown but the rent was outrageous compared to the space. At the last minute, I lucked into 5th and Main St. It was a brand new renovation (I love taking something old and making it new again) and two blocks from my son's new office. Lots of ...

restaurants within a few minutes walk! The apartment is in a secured access building...Mom's like that. The apartment itself was beyond amazing! Located on the first floor. I entered through a heavy self closing door that opened to beautiful blonde wood floors, lovely granite counter tops, kitchen island with stainless steel appliances, dark wood cabinets and spacious living area. Walking farther into the apartment there is a great size bathroom with granite counter top and tile flooring. Straight back is a door leading to the spacious bedroom. My son's king size bed and dresser fit perfectly! The closet holds a nice stacked washer and dryer, leaving great space for clothes, shoes, etc. which was perfect as my son has lots of shoes and suits! The Sperity management team was responsive and so easily to deal with if you needed them. The apartment would be perfect for singles or couples! The renovation of this building could not have been any more well done. If you think this review is a little lengthy and hard to believe, it's because this is a picky Mom's ideal apartment!
