The landlord BRAGGED to me about how much money he was going to get from a couple with children who couldn't pay him $500 when he surd them. My apartment in the basement flooded 6 times in less than 2 years. I was told by a plumber that came in that all the plumbing needs to be redone and the landlord told me to "mind my own business" when I said this
