Impact noise from upstairs, including during quiet hours (after 9 PM and before 7 AM), has been so bad that it's disrupted my sleep regularly. To make things worse, the windows don’t insulate anything, so you're stuck listening to road noise from National Ave and the nearby freeway 24/7. Combine that with creaky floors, a total lack of soundproofing, and no modern upgrades, and it becomes very clear this building wasn't built with tenant comfort in mind. Utilities (electricity, gas, water) are shared across all units, which could be fine—except there’s zero transparency from management about usage or cost breakdown unless you dig into it yourself. Shared water heating and laundry power are tacked onto your rent indirectly, so you end up paying for more than just your own consumption. Bottom line: this place is not worth what you're paying for. Between the constant noise, old infrastructure, and general lack of modern amenities, I can’t recommend it to anyone looking for a restful, private living situation.
