March 20, 2016 - Review from Apartments.comThe manager and her boyfriend who happens to be the maintenance guy is super shady. It took forever to get a copy of the lease and when we did it was incomplete. On multiple occasions i came home to find the deadbolt unlocked. My file cabinet was broken into and rigged to get back into without much effort by removing the metal rod that attaches to the lock to lock all the drawyers. It was weeks before i found that only the top two drwyers would lock. My girlfriend was having health problems and ...we decided to move instead of pay rent due to the multiple wierd occurances. The back gate in the parking structure was rigged to stay open on certain nights. The lights in the complex itself were programmed to go off early in the morning where you would find the grounds to be pitch black and can barely see. When I moved out and returned to visit the lights must of been reprogrammed . We set up a time to pick up our furniture with the manager after turning over the keys and after numerous phones calls and messages received no call back. When we finally reached her it was already too late and she stated the furniture was removed snd the apartment was to be rented that following Monday. Make sure everything is in writing because any verbal agreements and or statements made by her will be changed to accomadate her. Ive caught her in multiple lies. She appears nice and all but if you search online you will find other reveiws stating to beware of paying rent in cash. I was even informed at one point (not by Nicole) that her mother owns the property and later told she just manages the other part of Chatsworth Place which would be the third building over from the plaza. Watch out guys, this gal is a man hater. And the place seems like a sure set up for revengeful girlfriends. Youll notice people dont stay very long and or switch apartments to basically hide any wrongdoings of management and or tenants in cahoots with management. The management of the complex definitely needs to be audited and investigated.Read More
