has obviously never been clean or sanitized. On top of this, you do not get cold water here, only warm or boiling hot. This includes the shower. If I want cold water, I need to fill my Brita filter and refrigerate it. Not only that, but the water is always hazy and dirty looking. I have asked management multiple times to fix this issue and they wont. We also have an ant problem. There is no baseboards below some of the cabinets, so they are constantly in my kitchen no matter how clean I keep it. I have made multiple maintenance requests, and nothing has been done about it in 4 months. That covers everything in the kitchen, so lets talk about the bathroom. There is a smell. There are mildew spots everywhere and the vinyl flooring is peeling off in multiple places. It hasn't been renovated since the 70s, and I feel like most prison bathrooms are nicer. My shower was full of hair and soap stains when I moved in. On top of all of this, the office is not helpful at all. No one is on the same page over there. I've been told I was getting a key to the gym since I moved in and have asked about it multiple times, but still no key. The pool is never open. Here's the real kicker: Even with all of these issues, they had the nerve to ask me to re-sign next year with a $150 increase to monthly rent. You couldn't PAY ME to live here again. My apartment is disgusting, the office doesn't care about residents, and I highly recommend living somewhere else if you are looking to live here.

man this place has some unique tenants. Also, not this place's fault, but if you take the bus in the morning to MSU, there are times when the bus will skip you entirely as it's too full from previous stops on the way. You can easily miss class if you need a bus at a specific time.

You will be given a facade. I understand that customer service is a must for any business, but customers always hope it is genuine. It is *not* in this case. No one in the front office actually cares about your issues and will tell you whatever is convenient for them in that moment you ask. Do not ask for any information whatsoever: always check your lease. Your issues and opinion will be dismissed. The front office manager does not care what you think. She will be rude. She will condescend you. Complete lack of professional decorum. Do NOT miss a payment. I easily made all the payments for rent on-time via the auto-pay feature you can use online, except for one. Due to my bank making a mistake, I missed one payment and was not notified by the office till 10 whole days after the payment was supposed to occur. This was the last payment for the rent before I was out and I had already moved back home. If the online auto-pay fails, you MUST submit a money order or cashier's check to the office for the due payment as the online account is frozen until then. That being the case, I was forced to mail my payment, which I called ahead to ask if it was okay and was told yes. Less than a day later, as I told them my check was in the mail, I was slapped with a $50 late fee (which I was not told would occur if I just paid ASAP, in this case by mail for my circumstances). You would think that someone who has made all the payments on time until that one instance would receive better treatment. My payment was in the mail for 4 days. I was threatened with COURT action while my payment was still in the mail which lead to some sleepless nights. In the end, the payment arrived on a Saturday which I didn't receive confirmation of till Monday. At that time I had already lawyered up. Also, a drunk tenant brandished his gun to threaten other tenants at 12am at night in Janurary. That same night the police arrived in full SWAT and took him into custody. Be very careful, please.
