Too Many Problems to List
June 13, 2019
Within 2 months of moving into my unit I had 10 maintenance issues. One particular incident involved my closet door falling completely off the hinges. The large screws gave me a deep gash and the door fell on my dog causing hundreds of dollars in vet bills. The apartment community drew me along for several weeks and ultimately did NOTHING to right this wrong. The other issues I've had were a dryer broken, leaks in the kitchen sink from a broken garbage disposal leaving a horrible smell, ...
bathroom door broken, ice machine broken, broken dishwasher also leaving a horrible smell, broken shower rack, flickering lights (despite changing the bulb) and callbox not working. And those are just maintenance issues in the apartment. In the building, the elevators are always out, there's messy construction on the patio and the staircase doors are sticky. I've worked in the apartment management industry before and know this is not how my experience should be when I come home. Beware, don't rent here!
