I do not recommend Bella Vista

I do not recommend living here, the complex and some apartments are renovated but the infrastructure is old . You can hear everything (thin walls), good luck if you have noisy neighbors or someone above you. Also, there is an ant problem and stolen packages. When we left Bella Vista, we got the move out statement and got charged a ridiculous amount for carpet cleaning and "remainder of rent". Plus, charges for "damages" (normal wear criteria did not apply to us) even when we left the apartment ...
in good condition. Of course we did not get our deposit back and we had to pay more.

Frivolous cleaning charges
July 23, 2021
The apartments are in a good neighborhood and overall pricey. However the apartments are old and showing its age. The apartment we lived in had poor sunlight. We also had a problem with lots of tree branches falling onto the patio. The guest parking spaces are quite small such that we even full sized sedans won’t fit. When we left the apartment, we got it professionally cleaned and the carpet was spotless. Still we were hit with a frivolous $250 cleaning and carpet shampooing fee. Normal wear ...
and tear wasn’t considered.

Do NOT recommend for LONG TERM tenants!

I would NOT recommend staying at Bella Vista. Yes, it is in a good neighborhood; but the property management sucks. You should look at other properties on the street for comparable or lesser rents. Few reasons why:- 1. I had 3 thefts in my apartment in less than an year. I had FIRs filed and on one of the occasions, the thief was caught but none of my possessions were recovered. Property management was unwilling to cooperate and make me feel safer. Worse was, when I tried to post about it for ...
awareness on the internal community portal; none of those requests were approved. The same thief who entered my house was caught on camera on some other apartments too. 2. The community talks about gated entry, but they had the gated doors broken for 4-5 months in an year. They property management acknowledged this, but each time the door was broken; it was a drag-on and took multiple follow ups from my end to have them fix it. 3. The WORST is, my lease is up for renewal. It is absolutely BLIZZARE that the property management (Vincent) has REFUSED to renew it for 12 months. 5 months is the max they would do is what I hear. Definitely the attitude is not about keeping the tenants for long, but to look at their profitability where you would get to jack up the rent prices in May/June. So, if you are looking for continuty or longevity; this is NOT the place you would want to stay! My feedback is after multiple visits to their leasing office and trying to work out the best I can to see if they would do better on any of my above concerns, including signing up a 12 months lease. They absolutely suck!

Worst security/ vehicle break-ins

security is WORST!!! my car was broke in ! cost me about $500 worth of damages. When i went to management they told me there is no security cameras and nothing they can do except i file a police report!! seriously guys? an apartment complex this huge does not have security camera system installed? this is INSANE! and they basically can't do anything about it! Guys if you are considering bella vista and if you have a good car please look somewhere else!!!

Do NOT move here! Management sucks, Security is a HUGE concern.

Management sucks, community sucks! Irresponsible and a non-responsive management who doesn't reply after multiple followups for weeks. Security is such a huge issue. They advertise gated doors, but they are broken and open for 4 months now which the management refuses to fix on a priority. Off late, we have started noticing few people entering late into the community through these open gates and acting suspiciously. This feedback has fallen on deaf ears of the management. Do NOT get fooled by ...
their canned replies here about calling them or seeing them in person, in the leasing office. They do not take any action. That is just their strategy to avoid taking flak online. You would not read a single comment from their staff here which shows that they have taken steps to address any issue(s). Their replies are all canned.

TERMITE INFESTATION
September 22, 2018
Don’t move here. Hundreds of termites in my bathroom. Window was closed...they came in through the walls Leasing office is slow to respond. Was told someone would be out at 9:00 am never happened. It will take over 4 days to get pest control out to assess. The leasing office hasn’t responded to their promise to have someone out the next morning. Unless you want to live with hundreds of pests I’d suggest living elsewhere.

Twelve years at Bella Vista and no desire to relocate!!!!

My wife and I moved to Bella Vista Apartments in October of 2006. We always felt it has always been a nice place to live, but since the new property owners, it is even better! A great deal of work has and continues to be done to beautify the community-landscaping, refurbished pools, renovated apartments, new gym equipment and facilities, laundry facilities...etc...maintenance is top-notch and the staff have always been professional, approachable and friendly. I really can't say enough ...

Poor apartments

I would give a 0 star for a terrible customer support. Pros: It's a fair size for a two-bedroom apartment. The rooms are approximately the same size and each with adjoining bathrooms. The balcony has a nice view with enough sunlight and air. For double bedroom, washer and dryer is inside apartment. Cons: The light and fan in the master bedrooms are not controlled by any switch and need to be manually turned on. Low quality light bulb which goes out every other month. Water consumption is ...
double for toilet as toilet flushing system is not strong enough so we have to flush twice to clean. Windows are not double pane so lot of airplane noise. Poor maintenance response. Every single time you will get standard answer "WE ARE RUNNING SHORT OF PEOPLE". Front office is very polite at the time of signing the lease. Once you move in they are very rude. Front office doesn’t care about online reviews.

Nice apartment, good staff

I moved in off-season. The rent is affordable. We have 2 cars, we looked for many apartments around the area, but parking in those apartments is always a problem. This community offers enough parking spots. We also got a move in deal of 1.5 month rent free. However, when the lease comes out, it only contains 1 month rent concession. We didn't notice that mistake and sign the lease. We found the problem in the second month after move in, but the guy help us already left his job. We talked to the ...
manager of the community. Andrew is very nice guy, he went through the whole story and never tried to mask the mistake in lease. We got the lease corrected and concession fee back quickly. Really a good experience with community staff.

The apartment is spacious and nice. More than the apartment I love the community which has awesome facilities like gym etc and lots of space to just walk. It's full of trees and thus cool and breezy. It's convenient and accessible to grocery stores etc and has parks nearby too. Great place to live.

Pros: It's a fair size for a two bedroom apartment. The rooms are approximately the same size and each with adjoining bathrooms. The balcony has a nice view of the park but with enough trees around to provide privacy. Cons: The light and fan in the bedrooms are not controlled by any switch and need to be manually turned on. Good luck not running into anything. Also, this apartment has many neighbors who smoke everything, so don't open your windows at night if you mind.
