Pleasantly surprised

This is my first experience in a pod, or micro housing. The apartment comes with all the furnishings I needed to get started, making it easier to get back on my feet. I have a bed, table, and folding chair that's all provided for free along with internet. The internet is faster than most hotels, but still isn't the greatest. Upgrades are available from Comcast Xfinity. The laundry has more machines than my last complex, even though this building is smaller. As a result, I've never had to wait for ...

a washer to be emptied. The dryers keep up too. At my last complex I always had to feed the dryers extra quarters as they're so slow; here is the opposite. I have to make sure I pull my clothes out before they're too dry! I haven't tried the shared kitchens yet, but they're always clean and lightly used; no waiting for a stove or oven. I needed to call maintenance once (routine stuff), and they were onsite within a couple hours. I've only noticed 1 person not masking for COVID and that's a lot better than other buildings. Overall I'm pretty happy here and planning to sign another lease if things work out.
