This apartment complex has nice amenities and community but I have been having allergies that clearly come from my apartment. Management has refused to acknowledge this, and refused to do anything to resolve the problem beyond a simple filter change, and refuse to arrange a mutual termination of the lease. I have had sensitivity issues in a couple of places in Minnesota, but I have found The Durham's management the most difficult to deal with and the least willing to take action. Apartments are ...

Have lived at the Durham many years. There is no where else in this area that can compare to the price and space offered at The Durham, and we have looked. The management staff are friendly and the maintenance staff are outstanding. And they throw great parties for residents.

However, in some cases, where damages are well beyond normal wear and tear, we are forced to charge the previous resident for some of the costs required to return the unit to it’s proper condition - the condition you yourself received it when you first moved in. Everyone wants to be proud of their new home and we want to deliver it as clean and presentable as it can possibly be. Since we do not require security deposits upon move-in, all cleaning and repair charges are itemized and presented to you following our final inspections. In your case, that billing was nowhere close to the total you’ve indicated. We appreciate all of our residents and we would never want you to feel as though we’d taken advantage of you. I have lived in a few high end Apartments in Minneapolis. None comes close to the living experience of Durham. It’s rare for an apartment to have so many options within the building for activities and relaxation. Management is available to you 7 days a week for anything you may need. Doug is the go to guy with vast experience in managing smoothly with everyday needs of many tenants.

Very personal and friendly tour and application experience. Top of the line fitness center, beautifully updated and QUIET homes. We’ve lived here for 4 years and never had any issues. Last week we had our first incident and it was handled extremely poorly. We have two cars one in the underground garage and the other in the back lot. They towed the one in the back lot because it had a flat tire. They left us a warning letter on the car week ago. We spoke with Doug told him we are working on getting estimates for the car and will have it towed as soon as we figure it out. The car had valid plates and the parking sticker we ...
got from the apartment. It was not parked incorrectly, it was parked the furthest spot that no one wants and we let the office know. When we spoke with Doug and Troy about the car they both said take it up with the towing company (towing company has nothing to do with the apartment policies). Jacob at the towing was actually wonderful and helped us got our car with no issues. Towing closes as 4pm and he waited for us until 4:10 to get our car. We have AAA and could have towed our car at any point but we thought when he spoke with Doug that it cleared up. Honestly can’t wait for our lease to be done, that’s if we wait that long.

Deb (lady at the front office), I believe that's what her name is. Very Very rude. The reason I do not want to stay in this apartment for a longer period of time is she. Not sure why management does not take any action against her, despite of so many complaints. I hardly know anyone that likes her or has a positive feedback regarding this lady. Worst place to spend money on rent

Rude front lady staff. No emergency maintenance, they call you after a day of your phone call. Snow is never cleaned in front of the driveway, very difficult to drive in and out of the garage and the parking lot. Construction noise from the other side of the building.

Very costly even for a good location. The apartment units are mediocre and beware of the office staff. They are rude. Washer and dryers are always busy. They charge too much during move out. There are many better apartments in this area.
