August 9, 2020They never do proper repairs had a ceiling leak the whole time I was there!! I guess they thought I wanted a skylight!! Jim the maintenance man actually nailed a piece of wood to my ceiling to stop the leak Tells you what he knows about repairs. The receptionist is the rudest nastiest who talks down to people because you can’t go to office there is no office!!! So she feels she can treat people how ever she wants!!Review from Apartments.com

Worst living situation of my Life!!!!!!!Please DO NOT MOVE HERE
May 15, 2018Please heed the warnings within these reviews!!! When you call for maintenance, receptionist EXTREMELY RUDE!! Leaks all over the building - they're constantly shutting the water off all day due the same leaks within the building. The carpets look like they're from the 70's and the hallways smell like death. Intercom system to buzz people in never worked since I've been here. Nothing ever really gets repaired because the maintenance man they hired isn't qualified to really fix anything. He ...honestly looks like he is on drugs. He literally told us that he had his own house and land while in our apt "fixing" our tub (aka putting caulk over mold) and then not even 2 weeks later we see him moving in to the 2nd building. If a light goes out in the stairway or hallway in front of the apt doors too bad..better have a flashlight because you will be stumbling in the dark for the next 2 months at least!! When the lights are flickering in the stairway, it reminds you of some old, decrepit New York City high-rise with people passed out or ODing on the steps ( I'VE SEEN AT LEAST 4 DIFFERENT PEOPLE BEING CARRIED AWAY ON STRETCHERS DUE TO OVERDOSE .) THE PREVIOUS MAINTENANCE MAN ACTUALLY OVERDOSED AND DIED WHILE MY HUSBAND PERFORMED CPR. After the maintenance man died there were squatters going in and out of his apt blasting music, doing drugs, crazy fights - the police must have been called at least 10 times. Some random guy kicked the door down in some drunken, drugged up rage and the door was just left hanging off the hinges!!! The apts wouldn't do anything until about half a year later when we all signed a petition, someone finally came in and locked the doors up. September 28, 2017This place is terrible!!!!!!!! I moved here thinking the reviews were wrong, seemed like a nice place...NOPE!! Bugs are everywhere and management does nothing about it!!!!! August 2, 2017if it were CHEAPER id give it better stars but it does NOT cost what rent asks. VERY expensive and now they went up in price. maintence is horrible, 1 guy for 3 buildings and he looks like hes on something and always with an attitude. the entire place needs to be torn down and rebuilt backp up. management there sucks and is RUDE. the owners obviously dont care about the place.Review from Apartments.com

May 4, 2017I moved into Emerson Apartments a few weeks ago. I have to admit I was a little hesitant to move here after reading the reviews. I loved the apartment at first sight, it's spacious and airy. It is a quiet neighborhood and I really liked that a lot... I decided to take the chance and am so glad that I made that decision. WORSE APARTMENT EVER
August 13, 2015THIS APARTMENT IS SO BAD. THE HALLWAY STINKS SO BAD. THE CARPETS ARE SO DIRTY. YOU CANNOT BREATH FROM YOUR ROOM TO THE OUTSIDE DOOR. I SUFFOCATE EVERY MORNING FROM MY ROOM TO MY CAR AND VICE VERSA. THE MANAGEMENT TEAM IS NOT IN THIS LOCATION AND SERVICES ARE SO BAD. THEY NEVER GET BACK TO YOU ON TIME UNLESS YOU KEEP CALLING EVERY SECOND..LITERALLY YEAH.. THE APARTMENT ITSELF IS OUTDATED AND THERE ARE RATES AND ROACHES IN THE APARTMENT. I never want to live in an apartment like this again
August 11, 2015The rooms are very spacious and that is the only good thing about the apartment. Coridors stinks and carpet on coridor is dirty.Management has very poor response to maintenance issues. There is no aircondition in the apartment. An asthmatic patient can really die there. I would not recommend this place for anybody.Review from Apartments.com
