  • Homeless tailgated into the society

    February 23, 2024
    The apartment has reached it's low today, where a homeless guy tailgated probably and reached the terrace of the apartment and roaming in the lobby. This is extreme security breach with clearly no actions taken by the society management to ensure the society surrounding is safe. I do not recommend this apartment anymore.

    Maintenance and upkeep has been going downhill. The elevator is not working for 1 month. So don’t rent an apartment on anything above 3rd floor.

  • Love corporations taking advantage of normal citizens? Welcome, Equinox is the place for you.

    Think you paid a small deposit? Well say goodbye to it because they’ll make up charges when you leave. $1000 final utilities (for 1.5mo). $400 paint and sanitization (while acknowledging there’s no damage - it’s the regular maintenance that’s supposed to be on them!) Think 20% rent increase is a lot? Just wait till you see a 50%. Out of town for a few months? $350/month utilities are here to stay. Package Lockers? Lol, who are you kidding. Been broken for months. All hope lost - along with ...
    many stolen packages. What about elevators? If only one is broken, consider yourself privileged. Need parking for a month? Just sign a paper. Oh wait, under no circumstances can you cancel it until the lease ends. Wonder where trash goes? On the garage floor. Piles of garbage stay for weeks. Cutting costs on containers is classic corpo stuff, as promised. Just moved in and your washing machine is overflowing with black goo from the previous resident? Hope you love homelessness, because that’s how you’ll smell from now on. No chance in hell they’ll come and clean it, and trust me, you won’t be able to either even with the strongest cleansing agents. And you’ll be good and clean the apartment on the move out because you want your deposit back. But then they have the guts to charge you for sanitization! Need anything else repaired? It goes like this: “Hello silence my old friend.. I’m left ignored again..” How about repairing something important, like fire alarm? “Take the batteries out and wait a week for us to come” is what you’ll get. Manager insulting his workers? Regular stuff. (That guy ‘left’, so maybe you’re lucky with the next one.) Just want peace and think you’ll pay them off and leave? That will be 6 months of rent. Think it cannot be that bad? Test your luck. Just leave a note for the poor soul who comes across this place next.

    Overall a very spacious and peaceful apartment. It has a beautiful view of east lake from apartment roof as well as the balcony. The apartment has two gates for access which adds to safety and also secures the packages delivered. Management is also very friendly and helpful.
