Beware! Do not be fooled by the Manager

We have been tenants here for 4 years and I am telling you --- this is a building to stay far far away from. First, the manager will never do whatever request you may have. She will appear very accommodating & friendly at first because we only found out in the end that she works by commission (aside from her free apartment & salary)so she will say Yes, she will have whatever you say get fixed or checked out. we needed because we could not wait any longer. The second most important thing you should know is that she will NEVER give back your deposit like what she did with us. It's been now 50 days since we moved & we still do not have it. I heard from one other tenant who moved out, she never returned their deposit. We ALWAYS paid on time back then & even advanced most times, but when it's your turn to get what's due you, they will never do it. We are in the process of filing a complaint because under California Law, they should return the deposit within 21 days or less after tenant has moved out. Also, there are always cockroaches & bed bugs that we finally gave up & moved. This you can ask other tenants past & present because it's so true. Oh and did I mention that they increase the rent 7-10% each year? But if you give favors to the manager like lending her money, she will ask you to be increased every 2 years only not every year.
