Not worth the money

Great location is all you will find here. Management isn’t here much. Do not waste your money on parking as it’s essentially free public parking. They constantly warn about towing but never do it. Lot is full during bucks games. Yard is filled with dog poop because no one cleans up after their pets.

The apartment is beautiful, but there are many issues. Parking is a disaster and not enforced. There is no after hours emergency number to call. It is very difficult to get a hold of any office or management if there are any issues. The windows in the winter get filled with water and grow mold that can’t be fixed.

They will find any reason to charge you fees. I was charged a $100 late fee for handing in my rent on the 2nd, well before 6pm (the hours are 10am-6pm) and they would leave early so they wouldn't see your rent check until the next morning. This happened at least 3 times. I would go on to explain this to them but never got any money back. They have no security monitoring the door, so anyone could just come in. Strangers have come in off the streets and stolen things from people. This has happened ...
to me as well. Finally, after I moved out, they took most of my security deposit and claimed it was for "cleaning fees". My roommate and I left our apartment very clean so this was a huge surprise to us. Never got the money back. 10/10 do not recommend!!!

I moved into Frederick Lofts a couple months ago and couldn’t be happier with my decision! Welcoming / responsive staff, well kept public areas ( lobby / rooftop / gym), and a great location in downtown Milwaukee. One bedroom apartment is more than enough space and provides a great view of the city. Highly recommend! - Robert G

I moved to Milwaukee on short notice and Frederick was by far the most responsive and helpful building I spoke to when making my decision. The building is clean and well managed with great amenities. I live in a smaller unit that feels big simply because the closet space and open layout is super efficient. I'm very happy with my choice!

Very nice from the start, the tour was very helpful and Alex was on top of everything when coming down to picking an apartment to all the information we asked for etc. The building is mostly nice and clean and had no problems yet of 7 months of living here. Any work order or something out of my control, Alex or the maintenance guy will respond right away to fix the problem. Overall a great place to live. Alec U.

I truly love this apartment! It’s the perfect location being close to downtown and the new Fiserv Forum but still far enough to get away from the traffic. My neighbors are great and even though it’s pet friendly, the walls are basically sound proof so you barely notice there are pets in the building. Everything is clean and modern. Maintaince is incredibly kind and responded quickly to fix a few broken lightbulbs and an exhaust fan. I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else downtown!

The apartments are new and well designed. Views of downtown from the balcony are amazing. The neighborhood is growing quickly with apartments going up everywhere and close food/beverage and entertainment options. A block from the Fiserv Forum. Staff is friendly and responsive. Street parking can be tough during Bucks/Marquette games but location makes it worth it.

Fredrick Lofts has been nothing but a great experience! With spacious floor plans and great views of downtown Milwaukee, it is a great place to live! The staff is very accommodating and helps out in any way they can! A bonus is the roof top patio which includes a grill and comfortable seating! I have used the gym multiple times and it is always been clean and great to utilize! With being so close to the newly built Fiserv Forum, we have gone to concerts and bucks games with no problem at all, ...

I moved to Milwaukee about 10 months ago and could not be happier with my time so far living in the Frederick lofts. The staff is great and accommodating and the apartments themselves are well thought out and open. The surrounding area is incredible now that the construction has wrapped up with the fiserv forum, Hyatt, and the MKE brewing right across the street. Perfect spot for any PBR fan as well with Jackson's, the Best Place and the Pabst brewery and taproom all within a 2 minute walk. ...

Constant excessive noise all night long from the fitness center / gym. 24 hours a day. Good luck sleeping! Users dropping weights on the floor like they're power lifters in the Olympics. If you ask them nicely to please stop, they argue with you. Complaints to management are completely ignored. Gym users climb on top of the machines like they are in 2nd grade, and throw the exercise balls around like it's a playground. All of this is caught on video and management does nothing. young, bratty, selfish, immature adults who leave beer bottles in the hallways, walk around in pajamas, make noise all night long, etc. It's like living in a frat house or youth hostel. No one has any regard for anyone else. Parking is also a huge problem. You pay $100 a month for a parking space and good luck finding one. Residents are supposed to have an official parking sticker; however, there are always 4-10 cars in the lot every night without parking stickers and they are parked illegally. So you pay for parking and come home at 8 pm and there are no spots for you. None of the spaces are assigned. Parking is rarely enforced. Good luck too if you have an after hours emergency. I had a smoke detector malfunction and make loud noise all night. Called the 24 hour emergency number, maintenance called me back from a blocked number (because they didn't want you to call them back and bother them). All I got was "I'll tell em" and the guy hung up. Repeated calls to the 24 hour number resulted in futility. They were rude and apathetic. I ended up staying in a hotel at my own expense. The noise was so loud other residents couldn't sleep either. Management does nothing here but collect rent. Complaints to management and even the VP fall on deaf ears. You would expect a lot more from a property that advertises as "upscale". Do yourself a favor and keep looking for an apartment.
