Gotham City: Paper-Thin Walls, No Amenities, Cheap Rent
July 20, 2015Cons: - The walls here tissue paper thin. A lot of folks have this compliant about their apartment, but this is the worst I've experienced. You can hear the next door neighbor's vibrating phone alarm going off and literally hear the word-for-word (not even muffled) conversation your they're having with their significant other in bed. Luckily, I've grown accustomed to sleeping with earplugs - you should too, if you choose to live here. - Don't expect any amenities besides a mailbox and front .../ back door locks (and those don't work half the time - my roommate found a homeless man sleeping in the laundry room once). In-house laundry room costs $4.25 / load and works 50% of time. Pros: cheap rent, maintenance team extremely responsive, little to no insectsRead MoreReview from Apartments.com
