Dude just stay away

Terrible place to live, neighbors are terrible, roaches are so infested in the building they’re crawling out of the walls and vents, have lost rent money and attempted to charge late fees despite acknowledging they lost the rent, they did not call the cops or do anything when a homeless man broke in and it led to a neighbors apartment being robbed, forcing tenants to take it in their hands. Furthermore, the screen door to my apartment was broken upon arrival and took two months to fix, front door ...

lock was broken and have yet to fix it, the gates to enter are constantly breaking, many repairs needed but they do not perform routine maintenance and blame the lack of repairs on residents failing to report problems that are the landlords responsibility to handle. Don’t listen to the reviews for five stars this place is terrible and should just be avoided. Laticia the new manager is cool though.

Cheap for a reason

10 days now without hot water in a row. Laughed at by management when asked if there would be a discount on rent due to going so long without hot water. Numerous tenants evicted due to drugs and issues with police. Had someone in the unit downstairs shoot someone one night. “Gated community” gates half the time don’t work and are very easily broken into. Front door of building hasn’t had a handle for weeks. Just a disaster. Mediocre unit however. Definitely worse actual living areas then this ...

one but everything else makes it easily 1 star

Horrible Place to live

If you'd like to live in a building that is infested with cochroaches no matter how many times a week you spray bleach your apartment, complain to management and get professional treatments (I am on 7 now I believe) then this is the place for you. They are spending thousands of dollars on a gate (that ultimately we will pay for) but can't handle bugs. We pay a lot of money to live here every month and then they send you an extra bill on top for common areas in your building that just seems to ...

climb every month. I'm sure the cost of the gate will be added to that. Save yourself the headache and move somewhere else!!

Perfect time to get in to a great place

I moved in to my apartment in the beginning of January. The new property manager is actually making improvements to make the property a better place and I am sure the prices will go up accordingly. The buildings have new security doors, the “problem” residents are being evicted or denied to re-lease their apartments and we should have a fence around the property by the end of the year! Move-in now to get a great deal!

Me and my father have lived in verona park for almost 5 years maybe more. This place is awesome! Some of the roomiest apartments ive ever been in! Bedrooms are spacious and you get a nice patio. But to top it all of the two wonderful ladies in the leasing office are super helpfull and so sweet! Theyre truely amazing and i know me and my dad wouldnt stay as long if it werent for them! They truely accommodate your needs and are always there to help!

I have lived at Verona Park since 2015 and noticed many changes on improvements. It has been exhausting with different management, and management has also, improved. I love my apartment! Short walking distance to stores and the bus line and if you drive, you don't have to drive far to where you need to go. The area is crowded because, many people like to live in this area. If i have any issues the new management handles it as soon as they can they came into many things that needed to be fixed ...

and that's what they are doing. Nicole is the Director manger and listens to any problems you may have and she goes out of her way to make things better. She has worked hard to open the indoor pool all year but, some of the kids messed that up for everyone. If you have kids please discipline them so, the pool would be available all year around again. The hallways are clean all the time because the new cleaning service makes sure of it. Soon, Verona Park will be a gated community which, is going to be nice because, it keeps out anyone that does not belong there. The doors on the buildings has better locks to keep the unwanted away. I'm pleased and will stay here until it's time for me to move on.
