Living in the Hayes building for almost two years, the best I can say about it is that it’s okay, at best.
Emergency maintenance is nonexistent. You can call the number at any point during the day or not and they will never answer or return phone calls. Maintenance department in general is a joke. Not only is the manager rude, but fixes things to the bare minimal level in the longest time possible. They also ALWAYS leave a mess when they leave. My bathroom and bedroom were covered in dry wall ...
dust, wrappers, caulk, and dirt every time they “fixed” something.
Door buzzers do not work in most apartments, so any packages that need to be signed for will never arrive. They offer an alternative service thst is absurdly expensive to sign for packages: instead of just paying to fix the intercom system.
You’re paying a low price, to live in Lakewood—so you get the bare minimum. “Newly” remodeled means they painted the cabinets for the hundredth time. An annoying lack of electrical outlets, one in bedroom. One in bathroom. Two in living room. Two in kitchen. Gaps in floor boards and trim that allow you to see/hear in the apartment below you. Not the complete worst, but I wish I would have given a company that was a little more sincere my money than these people.
