the garage is falling apart, there is a gap between the foundation and walls they simply put bricks in front of. its incredibly dark. I will avoid Katz Properties like the plague. it is really quite shameful, and this place is truly awful

Great location near Lake Michigan

I've been living in this building for a little over 2 years. It's located near North Ave, St. Mary's, Whole Foods, lots of bars and places to eat, a new library, parks, Oak Leaf bike trail and is a 10 walk to the beach. It's a fun and active area to live. Regarding the building itself, it was built in the 1960's and could use some updating. The whole building got new windows about a month ago which is a big improvement. Some of the units are being updated as tenants move out or have been ...
recently. Free heat which is great. Secure parking if needed (monthly fee). The building has a good range of people as well, mostly young professionals. The units are fairly spacious. The units on the 3rd floor are all lofts. Worth checking out if you are looking for a 1-3 bedroom apartment!
