Get towed from your own spot

Cheap, and for a reason. Old and musty, and TONS of construction. Not only that, tow trucks wait on the weekends just to tow you. "This property is very strict with it's towing." How do you even get towed from your own lot that you pay for? Also to echo other reviews, mice. This place is gross!

Unfortunately, there was a construction project going on at the property next door. The construction is over and that building is finished. We do have third party towing from our lots 24 hours a day. All residents can park on our lots at no charge, as log as they have a parking permit. We explain this several times during move in, you can not park on the lot without a permit. This is the only way we can control the lots so there is always enough parking for the residents. If you were towed then you didn't have a permit on your car.

Affordable, spacious, quiet neighborhood, pool...also bugs, lost packages, buggy elevator

It's difficult to beat the affordability of this apartment in this area. It's between Rosslyn and Court House, and travel is very easy especially if you have a car. Great to have utilities included, and management staff is responsive and friendly. Love that it has balconies and a pool. It's also a 60-year old building and cabinets in the apartment and elevator in the building has never been replaced. The elevator stopped at random floors from time to time, and would also just not work days at a ...

time while we wait for repairs. Sometimes you see little cockroaches getting out from the pipes. Didn't see mice like that previous comment though. All packages tend to be left at the porch unguarded and people have put out notes about losing their package. Nothing has been done about that to my knowledge. The solution seems to be you have to pick up your package ASAP.

We have been slowly replacing cabinets and updating kitchens and bathrooms. Pest control treats every unit when they become vacant. We also offer pest control at no charge to any apartment that requests the service. Not everyone has the same tolerance for pests some tenants will not tell us when they are having a problem until the issue is migrating to neighboring apartments. We do treat every unit on a rotational basis so even if some units aren't reporting we will still treat them a few times a year. If the tenant keeps a clean apartment and lets us know when there is an issue then you won't have a pest problem.

Mice. Not impressed

This apartment had mice from the first month of the lease. Mice could be seen in the daytime and night in the kitchen, living room and dining area. Amenities are non-existent and utilities (kitchen, bathroom) haven't been updated for 50 years. Walls were deteriorating, and the a/c did not work. This made the apartment very humid, which would cause bubbling all along the walls. The price of this apartment is so low for a reason. You get what you pay for.
