February 8, 2022 - Review from Apartments.comNot keeping sidewalks clear of snow. Cannot walk on sidewalk that goes to parking lot. Only sidewalk clear in front of building is one sidewalk to front door. The other 2 are not passable. The one sidewalk in back is clear. Parking lot VERY icy. If salted at all not salted enough to prevent people from falling. Coincidentally, when the building was inspected, all the sidewalks were suddenly clear. Then, day after inspection, back to normal-- not shoveled. And, in a building designated for the ...elderly and disabled, I have seen several people lately having to get family members or friends to come and dog their cats out of the parking spaces. Apartment does not help people by making it so they can even get their cars out. Of course they do plow the parking lots and this piles even more snow blocking way for people to be able to get their car out of their parking space.Read More

March 25, 2019 - Review from Apartments.comI would not suggest this place for anyone elderly. I stopped in to find out information and the manager Rose was so rude and unprofessional, it was unbelievable. If you want to be treated like a human being, I suggest going elsewhere.

March 10, 2018 - Review from Apartments.comConvenience: Close to discount drug mart which will deliver prescriptions. Not far from X- way entrances to 8S & 8N. Has doctor's office right across street. Other doctors close. Stow's Akron General Medical Center Emergency Room and Summa Cuyahoga Falls Emergency Room are closest E.R.'s. Close to shopping (Aldis, Macys, Target, Save-A-Lot, and others). Safety/Security: Problem: In winter, parking lots are NOT maintained well to make walking to cat and back into building safely. Residents HAVE ...fallen in parking lot due to ice. Positives: Secured building. Locked mail boxes.No steps at all. Grab bars in shower/bath unit. Railings line hallways. Some units have walk-in showers. Grounds and building kept clean. Atmosphere: To a large extent atmosphere is what you make it. Most people here are friendly. Of course there are always the immature, nasty gossipers anywhere you go and unfortunately Lawrence Saltis Plaza is not exempt from this! Very, very little thievery but, RARELY, something will disappear mysteriously. Residents play bingo, sometimes Dominoes, have dinners at holidays etc (small fee for dinners). Other events also scheduled. Currently has a resident advisor (paid position), Carrie, who can help with many things/questions.Read More
