I'd have given it a pass if I knew what I know now
March 12, 2021When I was first looking into the apartments here at Lewis Ridge I was shown a larger apartment than the one I was rented and for a larger price than was advertised. Did not get to see the apartment we signed a lease for until move in day. Both baths have mold on the shower heads and one of the bathrooms has electrical problems resulting in light flickering and a burned electrical socket. Microwave has a broken door and the refrigerator was disgusting. We had to throw away one of the shelves ...for the refrigerator because it was broken and covered in slime. Neighbors DO NOT clean up after their pets and allow their animal's droppings to sit on sidewalks and walkways. Speaking of neighbors, someone egged our vehicle in its parking space. Also the spaces are numbered the same as the apartments so if the person who threw those eggs was really feeling malicious it would be easy to tell where I live. Management and Maintenance take weeks to respond to maintenance requests even if they are listed as "urgent". I have had to call them multiple times for the same issue. Don’t live here
November 25, 2020Please read these comments people. You do not want to live here. Theft is rampant. I had my license plates stolen. Parking is horrible. There are many extremely rude and inconsiderate neighbors. And above all, management is horrendous. This company owes us still over $200 after writing us too small of a check and is refusing to give us any information. They don’t respond to half the emails and phone calls I send their way and will not give me their managers contact information. Prince was at ...least cordial but Valera is horrible to work with. They will give you warnings for noise complaints that will go on your rental history before even coming and talking to you. I filed more than half a dozen complaints of our downstairs neighbor violating the lease on numerous occasions and nothing was done about it I’m assuming because Prince said he was friends with him. There is one maintenance guy who will take over a week to come fix something. For us it was a clogged dish washer we had to deal with for over a week. They say they are dog friendly but will put noise complaints on your door for your dogs nails on the hard wood floors. If you have more than two people living in the apartment, you will have nowhere to park. Needless to say, the list goes on and on.
