heck of a night. As we slowly started to unpack, we would find a roach or some bug every five minutes. Open the cupboard, and BAM, critter running like lightning. Go into the closet, and BAM, walk into the bathroom, and BAM. Within an hour, I was on the verge of tears. This was no place a person could call "home". It was already the camp of the roaches. We also found the corpse of many deceased roaches. I may be sensitive to bugs, but even my boyfriend had gone into shock. We sat there all night, speechless. There was no way we could sleep, as we knew a critter would be crawling on us within minutes. At 4AM, we decided to just stay at a hotel. As soon as the sun came up, we went to the leasing office and asked to move out. We lost several thousand dollars, even though we had been there one night (and we hadn't even slept there). This remains one of our worst mistake's in our lives, and the memory is scarred in my brain. Even if you are trying to find a less-expensive place, just go for a better place because you will end up losing more and regretting like we did.
