electric stove, refrigerator, disposal and dishwasher. The apartments are in a wonderful location, especially for those who do not have transportation. There are two grocery stores within walking distance, as well as restaurants and other shops, a hospital and plenty of doctors offices within walking distance. It is in a nice area of town and I have no qualms about walking around outside in the evening because it is extremely well lit. For our safety the outside doors are locked and only residents can enter during the hours of 8:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. Because the manager has a heart for seniors, she has "Nacho Monday", where the residents are invited to gather and enjoy nacho's and on Wednesdays, during the warmer months, she holds a cook-out on the patio, where she serves hamburgers and hotdogs, as well as chips etc. She also orders pizza once a month for residents to get together and eat. Four times a year she takes us to Scott's Orchard for peaches and apples. She also takes us to the Senior Fair, which is great fun. She does all this, which is not part of her job description, because she loves seniors and wants them to have opportunities to get our of their apartments and enjoy each other's company.
