August 11, 2015So, the rent is extremely overpriced right now in Denver and corporations such as Montrachet are the first to take advantage of all of us who couldn't afford a house as the housing prices doubled over the last year. The actual apartment is fine. I have the den and bedroom at 1,079 ft. Garages are available for all apartments. You can actually work it out where there are no common walls---yes, you can actually sleep at night! Here's the scoop though: NO comcast (and if you want to travel ...back to 2001 in technology land, just subscribe to Direct TV and Qwest (OMG...I actually have to wait for movies to stream/buffer!). Then, in addition to your "regular" electrical bill, you'll get a "surprise" extra electrical bill covering common areas, trash, & I guess a charge for the water/sewer for the landscaping. The staff are nice and the pool/exercise room area is fantastic. As a bonus, you get 2 free personal training sessions, and there are weekly events for fitness. Hiking trails are right outside your back door, and this is a very dog friendly place (I think I'm the only one that doesn't have one). Golden is centrally located to everything, so location if fabulous. Someone really does need to put in a gas station and a Starbucks in this area though; they'd clean up!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
