Quiet and Accessible

The first thing to bear in mind is that I live minimalistically; I don't have furniture other than a bed, a desk, and a chair - the living room was essentially storage space. I'm also almost never indoors all day either being at work or exploring the forests. If this is your lifestyle, this review may be more applicable towards you. I've thoroughly enjoyed living here for the last three years. I did wind up leaving solely with the desire to be in a different physical environment. The apartments ...

were incredibly well-insulated on the third and first floor - both heat and sound; as soon as you closed the windows, you no longer heard the drunken neighbors screaming down the echo chamber that is Royal Blvd at 2 am. Accessibility to everywhere downtown is easy, the foothills are just a 30-minute walk away, the park is right next to you if the foothills aren't your thing but you still want to be outside. Management was quick and efficient to respond to my requests, along with patient and accomodating when I didn't understand something. The only concern I had was parking, which others can attest to, and the property management has heard of a million times. I didn't have a car my first year, and so I didn't quite realize how tight the uncovered spots were until later. I was fortunate that one parking spot neighbor moved out, the spot wasn't taken later on, and we were able to have extra room along our line of parking.
