Lived here for 4 years and after the pandemic things got tougher.
Our rent was raised by over $600 over the 4 years. The front office said so sorry so sad but if you don't like it, you can move.
The pool is out of service for a good 2 months in the hot months for never-ending repairs.
Second-floor unit, my downstairs neighbor smokes week and cigarettes which floods our unit with smoke, and the front office says... nothing we can do about it.
The front office is nice .. until they are ...
not. The general manager has been heard on many occasions saying how she doesn't like out-of-towners..especially Californians who oddly enough are the ones she is okay renting to. She simply wishes they would go back to where they came from.
The pros.
The maintenance team is amazing and diligent though some things like my smelly garbage disposal are out of their hands. The premises are generally clean and well-maintained.

My Mother lived at these wonderful apartments for many years. Due to poor health she sadly had to move. During all that time she never had a complaint. The staff was remarkable, going way above and beyond what would be expected. The apartments are beautifully maintained and the staff treats their tenants like family. I will never be able to thank them enough or recommend these apartments more highly. Thank you Pacific Islands Apartments for everything.

They have been denying residents who haven't agreed to amenity upgrades new lease terms and served eviction notices as of the first of September. They refuse to tell residents as to what their reasons are for evicting them. They are attempting to do this without cause other than a gentrification plan with inflated rent costs. As a senior citizen, still having to work hours from home to support myself, I consider living here a major contributor to my contentment and peace and joy. A wonderful train goes by three times a day, crossing Green Valley Parkway right within my view at my desk. It makes me feel a part of the busy lives out there. A life like I used to have. The maintenance people and office staff here well-represent the Corporation/ownership by keeping the property clean and cared for continually. There ...
are lovely planted flowers up by the mailboxes and entrance in to the property welcoming visitors and making the tenants feel like where they live is their home. The few times I have had maintenance come in to my unit, they are courteous and very efficient and come prepared with the right tools and parts. I've recommended this approximate 400 unit property to many friends and aquaintences knowing I would never regret assisting them in making this choice to have their home. I have COPD so I rarely go out and the office graciously accepts packages that are postal deliveries. They even put notices in our mailboxes to come get them. I have sometimes had to leave them there for a full week and even then, they are happy to see me and greet me with warmth often assisting me out to my car. This is my home and I hope to be able to comtinue to earn that extra amount over my social security and prescriptions to stay here until u can no longer care for myself. My apartment itself us a lively layout 2 bedroom, 2 bath with a lanai that includes storage closet. My master bedroom has a huge walk-in closet and my bath a large tub and shower with double sinks and ample counter space. I cannot say enough positive things about living here at Pacific Island.
