    I moved here one year ago. Ashleigh helped me soooo much. And now we have new management and they are just as great. I will say, I usually read reviews and get discouraged. I’m not saying people don’t experience the issues they’re having, but some are just upset renters who make up stuff because of not getting something they want. I can say that the staff here has been the BEST I have ever had. That says a lot coming from me because I hardly like ANYONE and hard on EVERYONE! Of course there were ...
    a FEW bug issues because we live in the woods ( common sense) but the exterminator came and cleared it up. I did not have parking issues because I got a garage. The garage is worth the extra money, especially in winter and at night! It is a great community and close to everything. I really got blessed when I moved here. I am going to hate to go. I wish I could take this place and the staff with me. I don’t have any complaints other than I wish I wasn’t moving out of state or I would never leave. This place is great. And I have swam in the pool for 2 summers now. LOVE IT! If you move here, GET THE GARAGE and have your patio face the back. It’s peaceful and more shade in the summer. I only cut my air on 2 times each year and that was because my granddaughter is a baby and gets hot easily. Otherwise, the woods keep it shady and cool. Really great place to live.

    EDIT: I am changing my 1 star review from 6 months ago to 4 stars. The new Manager Ashleigh has been Phenomenal, she answers the phone, returns call/emails and follows up with issues or concerns that residents may have. She communicates and provides excellent Customer Service. Adam that works in the office is also very good and maintenance has always been top notch. If parking was better and residents with dogs were respectful I would have given 5 stars. The apartment is spacious and I enjoy the ...

    In my opinion it is overpriced and the neighborhood is getting worse. I also feel the new owners PLK Communities are not as professional or responsive as Village Green. The property is in need of upkeep.

  • Read before you rent.

    Let's start from the beginning. When I moved in, the apartment had an odor to it. They didn't even air it out before I arrived. There were white paint spots all over the floors in the bathrooms and kitchen. There was a child living in the apartment above us that ran up and down the floors all day and night. They have glass covers for the kitchen and dining room lights, which fall and shatter after coming loose from the vibrations caused by your upstairs neighbors. Shortly after we started living ...
    there, ants started coming in the apartment. They charged me a monthly fee for extermination but it seems they didn't really have the exterminators spray the outsides of the property to keep the bugs away because the ants lasted for most of my lease. The carpet was very cheap and there were blocks under it out in the middle of the floor that I hurt my feet on numerous times before I finally left that place. The toilets clogged easily. If your female dog squats to pee then someone will take a picture and send it to the office who will then charge you a fee for not cleaning up your dog's mess. If you set your bag of trash outside your front door for more than 5 minutes before you walk it down to the other end of the complex to the only dumpster on the complex, then you will be fined. They don't setup a curbside pickup from the trash for large items even though they charge a premium price for their apartments. They don't have assigned parking, so if you get home after 8pm at night, you can expect to have a walk across the property home at night and back out in the morning. It's especially awful during the cold weather. I wanted to buy a house at the end of my lease, but it was going to take longer than the lease to get it. I asked if I could move to a month to month lease for 2 or 3 months until I got it and they told me I would have to sign a new month to month lease with a $300 a month rent increase. Save yourself the nightmare and don't rent here. I would only recommend this place to someone I hated.

    This place is trash. Pool still not open summer is almost over we have not gotten anything for reimbursement. They call this luxury living lol that’s a lie your living room don’t even have windows your rooms have 1 window each no sunlight at all this place sucks so all the things they have to offer is bottom of line apartment. Over crowded parking. Crazy amount water bills. Tanning bed and basketball must be there before 5 when they close the pool has not been open all summer and hot tub was ...

We sincerely apologize for the concerns you’ve experienced and want to assure you we take these matters you’ve shared with us very seriously. Inclement weather has been the biggest cause for the interruptions to the renovations. Additionally, there was a change in regulations and the inspector informed us coping around the pool is no longer acceptable. As this is a state regulation, we are required to address it and are working as quickly as we can to have this space renovated and open to our residents. Each floorplan does include a window in the living room, which leads out to an enclosed, private patio, and except for the pool and tanning bed, all amenities are open 24-hours. Our community does have a strict parking policy and offers rentable garages and designated visitor parking spaces.     If it's in your best interest don't move here the water is outrageous, you dont pay your first 3 months so then when you go to move out your last bill you will get billed all at once from that time, parking is stupid, oh and its almost June and the pool ain't open yet because it's under renovation Haha but they haven't even started working on it and they got rid of the hot tub so I'm not even sure why were paying these luxury prices when you can go somewhere 10× better..... so if its in your best ...

Our pool is undergoing a renovation; a lot of the work being done currently is in preparation (i.e. removing brick, filling in the hot tub, leveling the concrete, etc.) and we anticipate the final renovation (including a brand new soft seating area, new pool furniture including day beds with cabanas, and two resort-style hammocks) to be complete by mid-June, weather permitting.     From day one I have had nothing but a positive experience living at Paddock. The apartments are spacious and well kept. The exterior of the apartments are well maintained by a staff that seems to really care, some even keep treats for my dog handy! The office staff is also pretty amazing! Always willing listen and use any feedback we have as residents to make our stay here more enjoyable. The pool/work out room are available and kept clean and tidy as well as the very nice clubhouse area. Which ...
    offers free coffee! And internet access with printers! ( a great perk on those days when I can't really get out and about ) The dog park is well maintained and very secure for larger or smaller dogs. Its a friendly atmosphere with a homely feeling to it. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great renting experience. It is top notch and I really have enjoyed it this past year and hopefully for many years to come!
