Manager has no respect for tenants and their privacy.

I’ve been living at Palm Gardens for 1 year and 6 months and have never had any issues—until now. Today, a maintenance worker knocked on my door around 3:00 PM to perform work. I politely asked if he could return later, as I was in the middle of getting dressed to leave for school and, as a woman living alone, was not comfortable having someone enter at that moment. He was very understanding and agreed to return the next day.

manager, Bonnie. She immediately began yelling at me, saying, “You are not allowed to say no to my guys.” I tried to calmly explain, but she hung up on me. When I went to the office to follow up, she refused to listen, dismissed me, and told me the apartment was hers and she could enter whenever she wanted.
This experience made me feel completely disrespected, harassed, and like my right to privacy in my own home meant nothing. I am still shaken by the experience. A home should be a place of safety, not somewhere I feel intimidated or emotionally distressed.
I hope management seriously reconsiders how they handle tenant concerns, especially when it comes to respecting personal boundaries and privacy.
