internet service is horrible
December 2, 2022the common area carpet is dingy and the area smells. i cannot use the phone at all in the apartment. I have to drive a block or 2 away to use the phone. i wish someone had told me that before i moved in. the apartment looks nice in the ad, but looks can be deceiving.Review from Apartments.com
Landlord withholds deposit
July 6, 2016Godwin properties owns this apartment complex. Having lived there some five years with a contract with the previous owners, I left in 2008. While living there, the previous owners never increased rent and made sure that the manager responded to problems reported in a timely fashion. Unfortunately the building was sold while I was still a tenant. There were some concessions that I made voluntarily as the rent was quite reasonable. The most important concession was that I never asked that the ...carpets which had seen better days be changed, instead shampooing them every 2 to 3 months. However the carpets were stained deeply and the stains consistently resurfaced. Those carpets must have been there at least 15 years. Alas when I left, the new owners kept my security deposit claiming I was responsible for the poor condition of the carpets. As the manager who was there when I moved in had been changed by the new owners, my refutation fell on deaf ears and I never got my deposit back. Since then I have found out that my case was not an exception. Hence I would be weary of the security deposit practices of the present landlord.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
