I got the keys on May 13, 2022, I entered the apartment and it was filthy. The windows had dirt, dust, and bugs in them (on the inside) that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. There were spiderwebs so thick that they looked like halloween decorations between the screen and the windows. Some of the screens had holes. Some of the screens were barely connected to the windows... just hanging on for dear life. Only 3 of the windows (the ones in the kitchen and the dining room) were able to ...
open because the others were painted shut. The vents were filthy. The kitchen drawers were so old and damaged and had old pieces of food and crumbs in them. The oven and broiler had boiled over food in it. The dishwasher had pieces of food in it. There were multiple mouse traps in the kitchen and downstairs. The whole downstairs portion smelled like mildew although none of it was wet. There were drippings down the kitchen cabinets. The medicine cabinets were dirty. The tubs were clogged and had dead bugs. The carpet was old and in serious need of replacement. There were dead bugs in all the lights in the kitchen. I called the leasing office multiple times complaining. I called a few more times to complain about the cleanliness and the leasing agent finally sent the "cleaning lady" (Kim) over to assist. Kim walked in and was immediately in agreement with the things that needed to be done and blamed it on the maintenance staff for not doing it. She said that they called her on Wednesday night (2 days prior to me getting the key) to ask her to come clean the apartment but she didn't look at all the places that I mentioned and those areas weren't her responsibility. They were the responsibility of the maintenance team. I showed Kim the dirty dishwasher and she decided to run a cycle to clean it. We walked downstairs so that I could show her everything that was wrong down there. When we finally came back upstairs, the kitchen was covered in water and bubbles because the fluid was leaking from the dishwasher. So, I called the emergency maintenance number and the maintenance guy (Fidel) came to fix it. In total, Kim and I were in the apartment cleaning for over 3 hours and we still couldn't finish due to lack of lights and lack of access.

Mrs. Ashley & Amy have been nothing but helpful and courteous to me and my family...while living in our apartment...they are understanding and very cooperative when I need assistance to live comfortable and as a single parent help alleviate the stress that I thought was going to be stress put upon me... The apartment I live in is set up beautifully but the longer I have stayed here the more I have learned to dislike it. If I have a problem, a leak or lights going out, it takes at least a couple of weeks in order for someone to finally come out and fix it and that is after I have called them again. The staff is nice but I also got upset because it takes them at least 2 weeks to finally cash my rent check. Overall it's in a decent and safe neighborhood, but it is definitely not worth the amount I ...
