October 28, 2023I see that the newest review is over 4 years old. Since that time the ownership has changed and the property management has changed twice. There are 2 major problems with this place. The first one is a TOTAL lack of maintenance response. It has gone from bad to worse. Even if you have an emergency where your apartment is unlivable (and I'm not exaggerating) it will take "forever" for maintenance to get to your problem. A major reason for this is that the management company is low on maintenance ...workers for the complexes that they maintain. To get anything accomplished you have to be the "squeaky wheel" to the point of being rude. The second problem is the plumbing of the complex. It is almost a weekly occurrence that the water is shut off because of some sort of leak on the property. 4 years ago they put in low flow/flush toilets. The concept wasn't bad. I understand why they did it; however, they put in the cheapest type possible and there are major problems with them now. As of me writing this review there are a minimum of 21 empty apartments out of the 200 and there is supposed to be an apartment shortage in San Antonio. That tells you something. Great place!
January 8, 2019My roomates and I would drive by this place all the time thinking about how great it would be to live here and now after a few years, we still don't want to leave! We got a nice view of the pond and all its little creatures (ducks, geese, and some weird looking ducks haha) Not gonna lie, I've never used the tennis court even when I said I'd love to but I spend my time taking walks around the pond and watch the ducklings go about. :) The staff is my main happiness! I had never lived in apartments ...before so I don't know what to do about a lot of stuff and everyone here always helps me out!Property Manager Responded

Outstanding staff!
January 8, 2019Staff goes above and beyond whenever they can to help in any issue I have. Cynthia is a great problem solver and Linda gets things done! They're open to any criticisms about the area and try their best to figure solutions. We use the pool and the gym all the time and the pond is beautiful. Love it! No plans to leave!
January 7, 2019I've been living at these apartments for over 3 years now and still have no plans to leave. I have a great view outside my balcony, we got duckies all over the place, and I feel at home! I have a two bedroom two bath apartment; if I have any issues, staff is ready and responds quickly. I hate to even call them staff because they make me feel like family! Sounds corny but its true. :P Thanks Cynthia, Linda, Tony, and everyone else!Property Manager Responded

December 24, 2018For starters I rarely give 5 star ratings on anything (hey, there's always room for improvement in anything we do, right?). I've lived here for a little over 3yrs & have seen 3 managers & 2 assistants all within less than a year of being here. I can certainly say, I had difficulty initially with maintenance issues at 1st, but since the change in the management staff, it's been a pleasant transition. Linda & Cynthia certainly have stabilized their respective positions & have ultimately made it a ...pleasure & an honor to have them with us. This really is a decent community to live & although the scenery & amenities may be a little "dated," one can't help but enjoy the nice pond featuring the wildlife such as ducks, geese, turtles all calling the place home.Property Manager Responded

December 24, 2018I’ve lived here for almost five years now and have no plans on ever moving. My apartment is very spacious and my neighbors are wonderful and considerate. It’s so peaceful and quiet here, and I feel safe. Neighbors look out for one another. Miss Cynthia in the office is just a phone call away, whenever I have an issue, which is not very often. December 24, 2018My experience living here has been amazing! The staff is super friendly and very helpful. The neighborhood is great and is super convenient to be so close to lots of stores and restaurants. The pond is gorgeous with a nice jogging trail with some wildlife to enjoy. Bad Choice
April 29, 2018So recently I posted that the staff is great. They are nice people but lately they don't have communication skills. If you like waiting for repairs and not wondering if your water will shut off one day to the other. Then go ahead and move in. You know the saying a good sales person will tell what you want to hear. Well that's what they will do. The place is nice area to live in but it has been a night mare recently. So many water shut downs for repairs. It's been a constant. Maintenance can't ...seem to complete repairs. So they have to contract out to other sources to do the jobs and that could takes days and even weeks and yes up to a whole month. The billing is done by corporate ,meaning if there is a mistake on your bill the office will tell you its the system and of course corporate and to just disregard it, but the issue never gets fixed. I wonder how many people just pay it thinking they have to pay it. There is no security and there has been many car break ins. The complex even put a sign in the office to let people that they have a security company but that was just a front. It was just management and staff making rounds. I never seen them once making so called rounds. I have seen apartments rent out to a couple and within the month there are more people moving into the same apartment. I have seen several cars park in the parking lot doing drug deals and even smoking on the property and who knows what else. The lake is another issue. So many people come to fish here and take up parking spaces at any given time. You can't park in a space close to your paid apartment. You may think I am just rambling on about this complex because I am not satisfied, well I'm Not satisfied or Impressed. But who am I to tell You what really goes on here. To Sum It Up. Don't waste your time or money. Keep Looking for some thing better for the Value of your hard earned money. If you have already moved here Just give it time and You to will be Unsatisfied.
