Terrible time and wish I never moved my kids here

It started off pretty well here in my apartment with tons of natural light and space. Unfortunately, the air conditioner broke in August and multiple requests were made to maintenance but no one came. I tried going to the leasing office which was always closed during the day as they were out on tours. Then while burning hot in an apartment that was 82 degrees, there was an ant invasion that was in my kitchen, bathroom, dining room, and bedroom. The downstairs neighbor smoked weed and invited ...

other teens to his place to crash and smoke weed. I could smell it in my apartment and so could my kids who were not even 5 and 7. It was a disgusting time so I broke the lease and moved out within 2 weeks.

Like seriously don’t even try. You won’t make it in. We applied for the apartments right? Got in the necessary paperwork and these people like wow unbelievable. Sign says come back at a certain time right? And they just ignore you. Like you come back at the time the signs and they’re just in there ignoring their clients. What is that called? So unprofessional. Like really?! You just want to get the appropriate paperwork necessary and they know you’re there and they pretend you’re not even there. ...

I'm not even exaggerating when I say that I called the office 25 times. Ext 1003 will get you through to a line that a person will actually answer. I also left 3 voicemails trying to get their attention. I'm at work during the office's business hours or I would have just walked over. If i hadn't got through to the leasing office at the last minute then they would have charged me a late rent fee all because their online bill pay isn't working. I currently live here & they have told me since the ...

beginning that there is only one way to pay rent: online. I was told that they were receiving a high volume of calls because there were so many people calling about this same issue (thats why they didnt answer). If you can't answer the phone because every tenant in the complex is calling for the same reason as I am, maybe you should have told us about it in a blast email or some type of notification. I consider myself lucky that i figured out the extension number by guessing random numbers on the keypad for 8 hours. River Reach staff is about to have a whole lot of upset tenants because they're charging them late rent due to their system error. Just be extra cautious moving here because you have to blow up the phone line to get their attention.

I have been a River Reach resident for roughly 5 years. I can honestly say that I would not have invested that much time if I didn't feel it was worth it. To start, the space in my 3bd 2ba apartment is great. It's roughly 1260sq ft if I remember correctly and that amount of space has thoroughly been accommodating for my family of 4. The pool is nice and big and the maintenance workers keep up with it on a regular basis to provide a fresh clean experience. This however usually results in ...

pool closure once or twice throughout the week, which Is ok because it's usually a Monday . I think my rent is fair considering the space . We pay 865/mo including the water. The yard areas are maintained on a very regular basis providing for nice clean cut scenery. I'm close to shopping, good schools, and entertainment. It is in a college town so traffic can get a bit overwhelming at times. Over all River Reach may not be perfect, it's not. But it has provided my family with a safe(on site security )and clean environment. Currently under new management I am much happier with the new lady . She actually cares for the residents. Finding a place to live can be simple , and this was as far as we needed to go.
