Perfect for me!
May 13, 2020I've lived at Rose Mall for nearly 4 years now and I love it! It's a great college/starter apartment for me! Management is caring and responsive. Rent is affordable AF (I have a 2BR and a roommate). And I don't think I could find this amount of space for the price anywhere else. I also love that there are only 18 units per building, so it's relatively quiet (although I do admit the walls aren't the thickest: I live on the top floor and can hear the neighbor below me as well as the one next to ...me--not conversations, but they sneeze super loud!) Gets a lot of light. Kitchen isn't updated (old cabinets, countertops, stove), but I don't mind that. Love the space and will be renewing for another year.Property Manager Responded

February 14, 20191. Crime is bad. No security cams makes it worse. I used to live across Snelling about three to four blocks away, and I never had people trying to enter my apt or car without permission. Luckily, I have other precautions in place, so I haven't been robbed... yet. 2. I was moved into an unclean apt. I have pictures of dead insects and leftover food in the carpet from when I moved in. (And much, much more.) 3. Floors creak BAD, and I can hear every step the neighbors above me make. 4. This is a ...great place if you like snow though. They don't plow within a reasonable time frame, so you'll have plenty to do whatever with in the parking lot. Does walking through 9 inches of snow to get to your car and struggling to get it out of the lot sound like fun to you? If yes, then this is the place for you!Property Manager Responded

Not so great
September 16, 2017The building I lived in had several loud neighbors, as well as tennants who smoked cigarettes and weed inside the building. There was also an apartment that definitely had a dog in it. The management is friendly, but they are oblivious and there are rarely consequences for people who continuously disturb other residents/don't follow the policies in the lease. The most they do is send a letter to everyone. It costs about $5 to wash and dry a load of laundry & the only machine to reload your card ...is in the office building. The only extra amenity is 1 outdoor pool. The parking lots are small & over crowded. Garages are ~$50/month without an opener. Repairs are usually bandaid fixes. Fine if temporary living, but not worth the money.Property Manager Responded

July 20, 2015I think this is a great place to live. Location is excellent, close to Har Mar, Target, Rosedale and plenty of choices for dining, etc. This week I am signing another lease for my 3rd year. I must admit it was grungy when I moved in but I took it upon myself to invest my own money into updating and upgrading my apt just because it has such great potential. I'm very pleased with the size of my apt (880 sq. ft.) which includes 2 large walk in closets as well as a large bedroom closet. Another ...selling point for me was the fact that it has 2 a/c units, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. I find my building to be very quiet. I figure I invested between $700-$800 upgrading my apartment. Friends thought I was crazy for putting my own money into a rental unit but now they all love the place and see why I did it. In my my mind it was a very worthwhile investment looking at the big picture. Nice Place to live in
August 31, 2015Since I moved this apartments, 4 or 5 incidents happened to me. In the middle of the winter time a hot water burst out from walls two times. The maintenance teams responded instantly and fixed the problems. I can say the staff and all maintenance are awesome take care of the residents requests.Review from Apartments.com

Good place to live
July 24, 2015Pro: maintenance services response in a timely manner My apt has good spaces for my living needs. Pool is clean and is great place to take a tan and swim. Very good walking distance from Supertarget, MarHar mall, and resturaunts. Con: Sometimes a maintenance staff leaves a mess, especially in the bathroom. I had to clean it up. Horrible place to live
March 11, 2014The maintenance staff doesn't care about the residents. The window in our place fell of the hinges when we first moved in and it still hasn't been fixed. They don't provide you with your signed full lease after you decide to rent with them. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything that happens in the building even in the bathroom with the fan on. There are no plug ins in the bathroom and most plug ins are so loose nothing can stay in the wall. There is not enough parking for everyone ...in the lot and it is never plowed.
