Everything That Glitters is Not Gold - Terrible Place to Live

I would like to preface this review by stating, that I don't typically believe in writing negative reviews. However, I moved to AZ and found San Sonoma and initially believed it would be a nice place to live, I was wrong. The issues started with the lease signing - there were several inaccuracies within the lease. One of the main inaccuracies - I was advised that I would be moving into a specific unit, then a few days before expecting to move in from across the country, I was advised that that ...
the unit given was actually occupied. There were several other inaccuracies, including the amount being incorrect. This resulted in a need to sign an edited lease multiple times. After moving in, I have continually dealt with faulty products within the unit. Circuit breaker constantly blows - if there are multiple items using electricity it is almost certain, AC has died several times on the hottest days of the year (120 degrees), leaking pipes, cabinets breaking, air duct vents within the unit breaking, ancillary fixtures within the unit breaking, and insects consistently! With all of the shortcomings I still did not complain or write a negative review. Actually, many of the issues were never rectified or partially rectified, so I decided to troubleshoot many of them myself. As I am cognizant that no process or organization will be perfect, so I never held the many encountered problems against the company. To summarize - the apartment is grossly overpriced. The price point that is being charged, you can easily afford a home with much more space, tax benefits, and build equity. In my opinion, San Sonoma is not properly managed and the apartments are overpriced for what is offered. ***This review is solely based on my opinion and experiences, I do not receive any benefit or incentive for posting this review.***

San Sonoma

This apartment complex is brand new and it is incredibly beautiful! The complex is set right off a major highway and minutes from great shopping and entertainment. The resort style swimming pool is by far my favorite feature. There are plenty of lounge chairs to soak up the fantastic Arizona sun along with many picnic areas complete with brand new gas grills. They have a state of the art gym with plans to offer free yoga and spin classes for residents. The community is secured with a locked gate ...
when the leasing office is closed and well lit paths so I feel very safe. The only down side is that the one bedroom apartment master bedroom is a little tight and I would recommend a bed smaller than a king for increased walking space. However, I would still highly recommend San Sonoma to any and all renters!
