Luxury is a Gross Overstatement
June 8, 20221. Our bathroom sink is rusted to the point where it can cut you if you’re not careful 2. Our shower is FILTHY and rotting 3. The grounds outside many buildings are gross with dog and uncleaned bird poop 4. You can’t safely use the big pool due to all the wasps living around it (I was stung on the face) 5. The office is RUUUUUDE. Every review has that 100% correct. They definitely don’t care about your concerns. 6. There are repeat residents who will watch you if you’re active in the community, ...and complain about you, even if you’re following rules. And the office won’t control them, and bothers you instead 7. Don’t expect to use the one pool-restroom in the entire complex if the office isn’t there (weekends, holidays, evenings). Hope you live close enough to walk back and forth every time! 8. The washer/ dryer is so old and discolored, an energy sucking monster! 9. Our carpets were stained and disgusting before we moved in, and now they are beyond cleaning. Oh and the nails come up from the binding when you vacuum. 10. On the plus side, we love our neighbors and the friends we have made collectively complaining about the above.Property Manager Responded

Not a Luxury Complex
January 21, 2022The word luxury for this complex is just wrong. No garbage disposal, no ice maker in freezer, old basic appliances, repainted sink in bathroom, dog poop all over the grounds, office won't accept USPS packages and USPS won't deliver to door so you have to go to the Gilbert post office 6 miles away to pick up packages, upper management won't return phone calls to discuss concerns, but they are painting the place so I guess it will look pretty now Avoid this place.Property Manager Responded

Awful CARELESS people!
January 4, 2022Don't lease with them! They will increase your rent by about 25% if you renew and if you don't... they will double it! And after you tell them it'll be a struggle for you, they'll add moreto it! I'm not talking about a couple hundred dollars, I'm talking about a couple THOUSAND dollars a month! I just found out, I'm not the only one they did that to... find a different company that actually cares about their residents and they don't just say they do, then stump on you after you let them know that ...your mother AND your dog passed away!Property Manager Responded

Not so Luxury Apartments
March 5, 2021This apartment could actually be decent for the price but the management is terrible. Everything is done super cheap and they nickel and dime for everything. I've had to put in more service requests then any apartment I've ever lived in. Also had to put in requests multiple times for the same thing. It's funny that they try to call it "Luxury Apartments" when everything is super cheap and low quality. Worst part is management though it's been the worst experience I've ever had with ...apartments. I definitely won't be renewing.Property Manager Responded

Awful
January 31, 2020Old junky appliances.You should see the poor carpet job and old rusty sink in my bathroom. Leasing office moved into the apartment directly across from me and now I get to deal with excessive noise and traffic on a regular basis and they are not willing to negotiate anything with me as far as moving to a different apartment or shortening my lease. Cleaning lady is awful inspect your apartment thoroughly including the shower before you move in. Not worth it at all will never live in any property ...owned by this company ever again. Pros and Cons
February 25, 2019Pros; -Very affordable -Very friendly staff -Nice pools, grills, and “club house” -Maintenance people are helpful and respond pretty quick. -close to everything cool in the Gilbert area -nice fitness center (would be even better if they got a rowing machine) Cons; -Your neighbors will probably be obnoxious pot heads who break every rule in their lease but won’t get kicked out. -Your parking spot will flood (you can ask for a different one or a garage though!) -super thin walls (this ...is the case with all apartments) -the appliances are oldProperty Manager Responded

No idea where these 5 star reviews are from
September 14, 2018These other reviews have to be fake, this is the suckiest place I’ve ever lived, management is totally rude to you even if you are only asking a question, there is no parking, the pools are not kept up very well AT ALL, not to mention the apartments are painted with FLAT paint, anytime you touch the walls it makes a permanent mark purely so you will lose your deposit, this place is the definition of lipstick on a pig. Everywhere you go smells like dog poop. Need I go on? Just come here and ask a ...resident how they like living here, no one likes it, these other reviews have to be fake. Poor management
October 17, 2017Resident at Sonoma for about a year. Not really luxury as it seems. The appliances like washer/dryer were not that great. Kitchen seems pretty outdated and old. Dishwasher didn’t work well either. Living ground floor wasn’t a problem but the parking stalls are really narrow and limited. The worst part about living there was the assistant manager Jessica, who was really unapproachable and unprofessional. She gets her words twisted, doesn’t really go into detail, and is disrespectful. Avoid her at ...all cost, save your time and talk to the manager Tiffany. We enjoyed the 24 hr. Facilities like the pool and gym. The rooms were nice and the bathrooms are spacious. Happy to Live Here
September 24, 2015I was having difficulty finding an affordable apartment that wasn't in a sketchy area. When I found Sonoma Landing it seemed too good to be true! They have a beautiful complex for a more than reasonable price. They are pet friendly, and have plenty "dog waste" stations (which are emptied enough, so the complex doesn't smell). They have two pools, one of which is heated year round, and a Jacuzzi. They also have a gym, and meeting rooms, as well as a TV room you can reserve. Good apartment and location
July 20, 2015Quiet and beautiful area. Within walking distance of Highland middle and high school. The apartments themselves are a bit antiquated and have oddly placed light switches and weirdly placed ceiling fans but for the most part a nice place to live. Near a nice jogging route not far from grocery shopping or gas stations. Prices are a bit high and could be due to location being an optimal one for those with teen children.Review from Apartments.com
