Not too shabby, but shabby enough

While centrally localized to the rest of the city, full of friendly and helpful cohabitants and ultimately a "bargain" in SF, there are still heavy drawbacks to this building. There are the stragglers that creep up from the Tenderloin and will post up on your porch, and the recently discharged folk from the hospital across the street who will scream at all hours of the night. You could never forget about the hospital because of the constant blaring sirens. It's close to Trader Joe's and other ...
bodegas which is nice. There's an old elevator in the building, which is sometimes more work to open than it is to just walk up and down the stairs. There's a cleaning service in the building but it only takes care of the floors (windows could use a good power washing). There's a laundry room downstairs but it's not always especially tidy (the cleaning service doesn't cover the basement floors/laundry room) and you have to have at least a $5 to load your laundry card. The manager is usually around unless it's the weekend or it's evening time. Dogs are welcome here, which is the ultimate plus, because my 100lb chocolate lab didn't seem to be allowed anywhere in the city before I found this place. It's overall very livable and definitely not the worst place in the city. It's just got some minuses that likely wouldn't be overlooked.

Great Apartment Manager, very professional. Well maintained building with downstairs laundry room. Centrally located across the street from St. Francis Hospital, 3 blocks to Trader Joe's, great public transportation very close. 2 Blocks to Cable Car. Accepts both cats and dogs! Beautiful apartments with a view of downtown. Nob Hill / Financial District location. Hardwood Floors. Claw Foot soaking Bathtubs! San Francisco at it's best!
