September 17, 2024 - Review from Apartments.comMoved in almost 2 months ago and the pool or amenities have not been opened at all and still not open. They ask for patience but still charge rent at full price that excludes amenities because they are closed.Bugs in the unit, noise and many other issues. I cannot bet how a place can be so poorly run. I never received a call back after the initial issue where they gave away the apartment we applied for and and the second one offered to leave us with one with a trailer park view and noisy tenants ...and bugs…Read More

November 27, 2023 - Review from Apartments.comAfter residing at The Addison on Long Bayou for two and a half years, I regret to say that the once-pristine luxury apartment complex has taken a nosedive in quality since Inland Residential Real Estate acquired the property in October 2021. What was once a beautiful and well-maintained living space has become a story of poor management, neglect, and a disregard for resident safety and comfort. Maintenance, once a high priority of The Addison, deteriorated significantly under the new management. ...Common areas were left unattended for months, and any concerns raised with the office staff were met with dismissive responses, citing budget constraints. A simple refrigerator repair request resulted in a makeshift fix, highlighting the company's unwillingness to invest in resident satisfaction and comfort. The dog park, once a haven for pets and their owners, turned into a mess with torn-up grass and unfilled holes that remained unaddressed for five months. This neglect had real consequences, as my dog suffered a torn ACL during this period, leading to an expensive surgery. The previously diligent maintenance crew was nowhere to be seen, and the overall cleanliness of the complex plummeted. Dirty breezeways, unkempt pool areas, broken tiles, and neglected landscaping became the norm. The management even fired the landscaping crew, leading to six weeks of overgrown grass and contributing to a flea problem that residents had to tackle at their own expense. The elevator in Building 1 remained out of service intermittently for a year and a half, and the pool was closed for two months during the summer due to damage, as the company prioritized shopping around for repair quotes over resident enjoyment. The front gate was in a perpetual state of disrepair, trash piled up around dumpsters, and residents were bombarded with annoying messages about potential fines for minor infractions. The presence of mold in Building 1, met with a minimal response from management, led to health problems for my family, including persistent coughing and phlegm. Upon moving out, the health issues ceased, confirming that the mold problem was indeed linked to the apartment. Numerous neighbors collaborated on similar complaints, highlighting a systemic issue within the complex. While The Addison on Long Bayou may present an attractive exterior and a great location, the plummet in management standards and resident care makes it a place to avoid.Read More
Too many other nices places to stay
September 15, 2023 - Review from Apartments.comThe pool has been closed since July with no opening date. The elevator in bldg one has been down for months and the property is filthly. Managment takes no pride in the property and hids in her office to avoid the residents. And dont bother calling corporate eveyone has done that and they just avoid you. Rent somewhere else.
Rethink it
August 13, 2022 - Review from Apartments.comnew management company took over & it has been horrible. All old staff quit because the place went to crap. Reluctantly re-signed my lease-they upped it over $300 and when asked for credit they only took off $75!! The street lights don’t work, the grass hasn’t been cut, the gate doesn’t work, The hallways are full of garbage and spills everywhere. they care about the management team making bonuses off of new renters.Property Manager Responded

July 29, 2022 - Review from Apartments.comBefore renting here do your homework. This property recently changed management. I live in the building across the street from the clubhouse and the elevator has been down for 3 weeks. The hallways are dirty with dog urine, trash and mouse droppings. The fire marshal discovered the fire alarm was disconnected to call the fire department so if there was a fire it could of been tragic. The front gate entrance is not working and just left open all hours of the day/night. The trash bin in the ...mailroom is overflowing. The pond located at the front entrance smells because the fountain is not working for weeks. There is dog poop everywhere and the pet stations need to be emptied. Horrible Management!!
July 24, 2022 - Review from Apartments.comNightmare at The Addison on Long Bayou. The front gate entrance did not open for residents and the traffic went all the way down the street last night. The entire maintenance team quit so my dishwasher has been broken for two weeks. The pet stations are overflowing with dog poop and it stinks. The majority of the lights are out on the property so it’s very dark when I come home late. The pool was closed because they said it was due to rain. I have owned a home with a pool and excessive rain ...doesn’t close a pool if it’s maintained. The pool has no lights on inside the pool too! The palm trees are dying around the pool and property. The fitness center most of the equipment is not working. The ladies and mens bathrooms in the clubhouse are disgusting with toilets not working and garbage overfilled. The clubhouse during regular office hours they keep the door locked for many hours so you can not use the computer room or get a cup of coffee. The office doesn’t pick up the phone. Management slow to respond.
August 16, 2021 - Review from Apartments.comI am on my third phone call to the office with no response. Not even an email. Management said that they would be going door to door checking/inspecting/entering every apartment on the property, but could not say why. Additionally, when they do fire alarm testing, be prepared for the hallway fire alarms to go off each and every 15 to 20 minutes 30 to 40 times a day because they have to check every single apartment. Can't wait to move!
