Cheaply built, incompetent management

These apartments offer no privacy whatsoever. There is little to no insulation, you can hear everything that goes on around you. It is nearly impossible to keep the apartment cool in the summer. The first 4 months living here, I didn't have a working stove/oven. Numerous calls to management did nothing, I had to go through McAllen Housing Authority to get a working stove. The hardwood flooring feature is an outright lie, these have cheap vinyl flooring (literal peel and stick cheapness). The ...
floors are literally warped and lumpy. You can feel air blowing through the door strike plates. The rent was raised (nearly doubled) at random and no one was given a proper 30 day notice. Rent was still increased even in the middle of a supposed 1 year lease. The paint on the walls is nearly kids sidewalk chalk, you can't clean your walls without the paint coming completely off. Don't let the "modern" appearance fool you, these are the absolute worst apartments I have ever lived in. They are not worth the price at all.

I must say. I was one of the first tenants to ever live here and I’m very pleased with the new manager/landlord! He’s very professional and whenever something needs to be fixed they call maintenance and within 10 min or less they’re already here. I was locked out of my apartment the other day and it was pouring out but the manager still came out in the pouring rain to give me a spare key! That is GREATLY appreciate and speaks wonders. I’ve now lived here over a year and the only complaint I have ...

Went in hoping to see a 2bd even asked if I needed an appointment. Right off the bat the girl in the office starts asking me how I heard about the apartments and I have I searched the internet and not in a polite manner. Then she proceeds to tell me that she has a waiting list. I gave her my name and number and I was the second name. Some waiting list. Mean while she kept talking to someone in her office as she runs me out. Not a place I would like to live at anymore. Plenty of other new ...
