When I first moved in back in May, I was told the mailboxes were being fixed, and I could not yet get the key to my mailbox. Fine, I waited two months before asking about it, and management had no idea what I was talking about. Apparently, I waited two months for a mailbox key for no reason besides some employee lied or did not know what they were talking about. 3. During the last hurricane, the fencing around the complex was pretty damaged. It took management many months to fix this, way after the storm happened. 4. The gates are constantly breaking. 5. Trash builds up constantly. At first, management had one trash compactor that did not work. Then, they got a single dumpster for the entire complex to use in the back. They finally have more dumpsters around the complex, but the trash still builds because the trucks only pick up trash once a week. 6. It took 2 maintenance complaints to get management to fix the seal around the front door of my unit. Before management fixed it, waves but bugs could get in at night. 7. The pipes rattle while the shower is running. I submitted one maintenance request. The next day, I got a notification saying maintenance fixed the issue. No one ever came into my unit, and the pipes still rattle. 8. When I applied for a lease, I was given a specific room for my unit. On the day I moved in, someone else I was already living in my room. They assigned me the incorrect room.

Also, I have heard from almost everybody that moves out, The Grove charges you for unnecessary things, such as replacing the couches and other furniture that you did not mess up. Also, clean EVERYTHING before moving out, or they will tack on additional charges after you move out.
