Roach infested

I cannot recommend this property. My apartment suffered from a severe cockroach infestation despite four “clean out” treatments and over 20 maintenance tickets in less than 7 months. Major repairs, such as my kitchen sink disposal, remained incomplete over a month later causing water to accumulate and develop mold. I had to involve Hillsborough County Code Enforcement, which cited the property for an active infestation. Only then was the building then treated. However, communication was often ...
lacking. I had to show up in the office to find out if or when my apartment was supposed to be treated. There were a few times I didn’t receive any notice of treatment despite having pets.
On average, maintenance requests took 10+ business days to be completed, far exceeding the industry standard of 2–3 days. These issues, combined with repeated failures to properly address pest and plumbing issues, demonstrate a disregard for tenant health and safety. This property does not provide habitable or professionally managed housing.
Additionally, there is only one dumpster for the entire property, which frequently overflows—especially on weekends—causing trash to pile up and creating further sanitation concerns. Any time it rains the front entrance is flooded.
The apartments themselves are spacious and have potential, but the complex appears unable to keep up with the level of maintenance required for an aging property.
I was so desperate to move out that I ended my lease early and threw out most of my belongings due to the severe cockroach infestation. 3 months later I have no issues at my new complex
