Worst Apartment Experience I’ve Had
January 2, 2026I lived at Trailside Oaks for two years, and the instability alone should be a red flag. During my time there, management teams came and went so frequently that I stopped memorizing names—there would be a new one every couple of months. I moved out in October, and I am still waiting on my cleaning/security deposit, which was a full month’s rent when I moved in. I have called and emailed multiple times with no response. Every new property management company claims they’re “getting it straightened ...out,” yet nothing ever happens. At this point, it looks like I’ll have to go to the Justice of the Peace to recover my money. Beyond that: Trash routinely sat in the hallways far too long More Airbnb renters than actual long-term residents Elevators constantly breaking down Maintenance requests took forever—my AC went out on September 9 and wasn’t repaired until late October Overall, this was an awful experience from start to finish. Sketchy behavior
July 23, 2024The office never has anyone available, random people coming in and out of townhouses, they use some units as air bnbs so again different people at all times not family oriented, the random people in units are the ones showing the units to potential tenants, the townhouses have 3 levels and the separately leased first level, like what?! Perfect location for living!
July 16, 2023I have really enjoyed living in my apartment for the past year. The location is perfect - short driving distance to shops and restaurants. The building itself is modern and well-maintained. My apartment has plenty of natural light, spacious rooms, and a nice layout. Overhyped and poorly managed
May 27, 2023This property is decent nothing to write home about when it comes to amenities (there are basically none) and the grounds are kept about as well as my bummy college apartment. They’ve changed management companies three times maybe 4 in the 8 months I’ve been here, it’s hard to know for sure with how frequent it changes. They don’t care about their residents and don’t seem to care if we lease again or not. For the first 5 months it was like pulling teeth to pay rent, the charged late fees ...because they weren’t in the office in the early afternoon to take a check with no notice they would be out early. They doubled my parking fee I signed at and apparently don’t have a lease saved for me. AVOID AT ANY COST
December 14, 2022They changed the management 5 times within 1 year. Currently, I am not able to pay my rent because they locked us out of our portals and don’t have a point of contact to resolve our issues. If I could afford breaking the lease, I would not wait for another week and just leave. This is the WORST OF WORST NIGHTMARE EVER. Front desk is a joke. If you go talk to them about an issue you are having, they mock you. You can’t reach anyone higher in line. Amazing community
February 11, 2021We live in the apartment complex and LOVE the complex, the 1 bedroom is super spacious, large kitchen extra bathroom and plenty or storage space. It is centrally located by the 183 highways and HEB. There is trails that take you to the train station or just looking for an evening stroll. The community space includes hammocks and outdoor fitness areas as well as a firpit. Not to mention the management is super responsive to any requests upon moving in and create a great community and the prices ...are very affordable!!! Would reccomend for anyone looking for a 1 bedroom apartment or a townhouse.Property Manager Responded

February 10, 2021The staff is incredible and very responsive to requests, calls and emails! They are kind and courteous! And maintenance is alway quick when you need anything. Definitely recommend this place!! Plus the trails right outside our door, and easy access to the H-E-B and the freeways makes it super convenient!!!Property Manager Responded
