January 3, 2026Being a resident has been a mixed experience. Because the maintenance crew is understaffed, requests take a good amount of time usually, or are never resolved/marked as complete even though nothing has been done. The temperature in my apartment is not consistent from one room to another, one side of the apartment constantly ice cold, while the other uncomfortably warm. And yet, it is safe to say I got fairly lucky with the apartment that I ended up with, because I have heard many a negative ...review by word of mouth, not to mention the written reviews. Location is great, though! I live just across from the REC parking lot, which makes access to the gym very quick. The walk to the JPL from my apartment in Phase 1 is roughly 10-15 minutes. I would stay here again, given I kept my current space. I will say I am extremely grateful for the lack of a bug problem, and not having any mold in my residence. There is quite a bit of grime in our vents though, which can leave an odor and stuffy air.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

October 30, 2025I love UOaks, it’s a great peaceful place to live. Nothing fancy but it’s great here. I highly recommend it. It is on campus too so no driving needed to get to classes. That means not being late due to San Antonio traffic!Review from Apartments.com
