Workers and Security are the thieves
November 3, 2019Clear that screws have been left out of sliding screen tracks to allow for the workers and their friends to attempt theft on your place. We’ve been here only a short while and have repeated attempts on our place. Leaving bed splays out to allow people to hop the barrier. I’ve gone about replacing equipment myself and reworking the equipment so it simply won’t move. When asked if there were security issues or pest issues we were told there were little to none. September 21, 2019Pros: Very nice apartment, spacious and well kept Management is highly responsive to maintenance issues in the apartment Grounds seem well kept although not the most lush - many barren areas Washer and dryer hookups but for dryer is electric only. Cons: I have the worst neighbors I've ever had in my entire life upstairs. The noise never, ever stops with continuous bangs, bumps, crashes, stomping, running.It's like living in a construction zone. I knew from the first week I moved in that I would ...be moving out at lease end. You can't change people that are this far gone. Kids use the parking lot as a playground. Very unsafe for everyone. Pools are often closed with no explanation. Must give 60 day notice of moving out (plus 2 months rent if breaking lease). When your lease nears the end, they notify you to either sign for a new 12 month lease or have your rent increase by even more than what it will increase with a renewed lease. Horible place do not live here!!!!
July 26, 2018My first month here I went to go park in my parking spot I was given and another tenant blocked me in and would not move his car because he said it was his spot now. The family that lives above us are not considerate of us that live below them. There kids run and scream all three the night. I tried talking with them and asked them nicely to please keep it down so I can work and the mother just gave me attitude and slammed the door in my face. I know ypur thinking tell the manger well I did 5 ...TIMES! I've also took videos of it and NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE. Now last night a bunch of kids that did not live here snuck in and had a HUGE party and had a fight in the parking lot so I told the manager again and of course they did nothing and to make it worse there was no security guard to break up the party so they were here till 4 in the morning! Wonderful Bliss
October 13, 2015My roommate and I live in this apartment complex and that's exactly what it is "complex." It has everything that anyone could need or want. If you were starting a family and have kids, they have two different playgrounds and two pools to relax and enjoy life. Also for the adults they have a beach volleyball court, and right across the street is a open soccer field, a basketball court, and yet another playground. The staff is phenomenal as well, as soon as an individual lets Susan, the ...manager, know that something is broken she lets the team of handymen know and they are there and the problem is fixed in the same day. They also have implemented security that walks the entire place every night. Affordable One-Bedroom Like a Cottage
October 13, 2015The one-bedroom apartment at Willowbrook is the best one-bedroom option in Merced - believe me, I've looked! The one-bedroom is a stand-alone unit, kind of like a villa or cottage, but it's located in a complex, so you still get all the convenience of a complex (trash, maintenance, pool, etc). I also love that the complex is full of beautiful trees. The unit has washer/dryer hook-up and on-site laundry. October 12, 2015Gated family community conveniently located near shopping centers, parks, bus stops and highway 99. The 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units are spacious w/central air/heat and a laundry room. Amenities: 2 laundry rooms, 2 large swimming pools w/inside and outside party rooms w/BBQ pits, 2 playgrounds and pet friendly. Rent is reasonable. Kitchens and bathrooms could use some updating. Home Sweet Home
October 12, 2015My Husband & I, have been living in these apartments for 1 1/2 year we really love it here. Since we first saw the environment of these apartments, we fell in love with them, have so many trees, such a family place. The manager Susan, she is the nicest person and if you have a question, she will answer it promptly. Also they have 2 pools that are so accommodation to all the residents here. You feel safe and it a Gated Community, with a Security Guard all time. They really take care of the ...cleaning, racking, blowing and trimming trees and etc. really accurate also fixing all apartments. When you have something wrong in your apartment they will take less then 24 hours to fix it, unless is something major. They are pet friendly and most of the neighbors are all respectful and polite. We surely recommend these apartments to anyone. We are going to live here for as long as we can. We are very comfortable with everything, we appreciate the care and the attention they give every resident. I hope this help for you to make a decision in looking for your home. Living at Willowbrook
October 12, 2015I have been residing at the Willowbrook apartments for over a year now and I love it here. I have never had a problem getting in contact with management and maintenance when I had a question or needed help; I always receive greetings from employees here at the complex which is really nice as well. As far as noise level and neighbors go, I never had an issue with loud noises or neighbors, everyone is really courteous of each other. I really like the fact that Willowbrook is a gated apartment ...complex, it makes living here feel more safe and comfortable. October 12, 2015My name is Lisa J. Garcia, in 1995 I rented a 3 bedroom apt. in the Willow brook I had lived here for 3 yrs. I moved to a house to raise my boys and have a yard, they grew up. About 20 yrs. later I was looking for an apt. I remembered the Willow brook. I have lived here for 7 yrs. as of July 2015. Since I have lived here I have been very comfortable as a disabled older Woman. I really love my spacious apartment. The living room, dinning room and the kitchen and the window to look out are ...enjoyable. The bedrooms are spacious as well as the closets to fit all the clothes I have and that is a lot. The bathrooms are a very good size, I like that the bathtub has a bar to help get in and out of the bathtub, as well as the shower that helps with support while in the shower. The laundry room is a plus with my disabilities it makes it very convenient to do my laundry in the convenience of my home. It's good to know that if my machines should break there are 2 beautiful decorated laundry rooms that are very clean and maintained. The two patios are great the one in the Master for privacy and the on off the living room which is large enough for my two little Yorkie doggies and all my many plants. The front has enough space for my bench and many more plants, which are my hobbies and good therapy. I have had so many complements from my neighbors, I have even shared clippings with my green thumb. My neighbors are peaceful people, we have much respect for each other and try to help out each other if needed. There are a few that I know that have lived here for many years and those who haven't are still respectful and courteous. The Management are very courteous and respectful employees, that always greet us with a welcoming smile, this makes it very comfortable to sit down and discuss matters with them. They are very attentive when matters are need to be fixed or if situations arise with other tenants and it is taken care of accordingly. This is very appreciated. The Maintenance Crew, the Contractors are men that are very nice, respectful, and courteous, they are always ready to stop working to give a helping hand to people in need. It makes me feel so good that there are people here that care. The 2 swimming pools are such a pleasure to have family gatherings with installed bar be cue pits and the outdoor furniture. October 11, 2015I've made a unit my home at the Willowbrook Apartments for over ten years. The complex is beautiful, well maintained, friendly neighborhood. Plus the amenities(2 pools, 2 laundry rooms, volleyball court, 2 playgrounds, walking paths) are at its finest to comfort each and every tenant/family. The units are very spacious with a modern style. The gated apartment complex entry is only accessible by using a padlock code, remote, or key a for security.
